njdevil26 24
He was injured in an ATV accident a few weeks ago and Jeff Coffin was filling in for him. He died apparently VERY unexpectedly today... I'm not sure how many DMB fans we have here on the boards, but a very sad day for music indeed. www.dmband.com

njdevil26 24
Ugh, my friend was at their show last night in Los Angeles and was in tears. Dave came out, they played a song, then he told the crowd what had happened and told a story about Roi and then played more and the whole band was crying while they were playing. Apparently when he got hurt in June they knew he wasn't going to be able to come back soon if at all and knew death was a possibility. I couldn't believe that they are still playing but I guess it would be what Roi would want them to do.
