Devs4LIFE
This was supposed to be a poll but I messed it up and don't feel like re doing it. So if a mod can just delte this thread then that'd be great. Edited September 13, 2008 by Devs4LIFE
Devilswede
I think Vrana makes it. He's just ready. He has nothing else to prove in the AHL. He can be a servicable player on any line in the NHL.
Devils Pride 26
Corrente seem's to be a lock to me. Vrana has the best chance out of the forwards.
Triumph
If Vrana doesn't make it, New Jersey's going to have to let him play in Czech Republic/Russia, because he's out of minor league eligibility (afaik). Pretty sure Vrana's going to be it, the team has 7 defensemen under contract.
Prucenterrules
Corrente will make it for a defensemen. The forwards if any make it would be either federov or vrana.
Devs4LIFE
OK since you guys wants to have this discussion anyway. I say Vrana also, there's something about him that I like and I don't know why he wasn't on the team last year. He's a playmaking center which seems to be what we're lacking. halfsharkalligatorhalfman
OK since you guys wants to have this discussion anyway. I say Vrana also, there's something about him that I like I like the fact that he had 20 G 41 A in Lowell last year. Lou gave Sutter a lot of FA weapons to work with, but given Sutter's track record he won't be shy about throwing vets to the curb if he thinks the young guys are better suited for the team. If Vrana were named Peter Thomas and came from Salmon Arm, British Columbia I'd say he's a lock to make the team, but... I say Corrente and Vrana make it. Bergfors gets some more time in Lowell. Dark Horse: Sutter takes a liking to Halischuk and gives him a roster spot.
SatansDevils
Corrente and possibly Vrana. No Bergfors.

Devilish34
None make it None? Are you sure he's good enough to make the team?

Halischuk probably would benefit from at least 1/2 yr with Lowell
HellOnICE
Out of camp: Vrana...within 2 months. Fedorov/Corrente Gone by Christmas (to minors or elsewhere): Pelley, possibly Rupp, possibly, Greene.
Confusious
Corrente and Vrana. I hope Vrana replaces Mike Rupp... If Vrana replaces Rupp, we could be a whole lot more offensive.
brodeurrocks
Corrente and possibly Vrana. No Bergfors. Possibly Vrana. The numbers are against Corrente but if he has a great camp he could be in the mix.
CerebralGenesis
Vrana and Bergfors have been in Lowell enough that they'll get a look
devilsfan26
None? Are you sure he's good enough to make the team? Haha I used to trick my friends all the time in NHLPA '93 because to pull your goalie you had to go to change goalie and then select "NONE" and I always told them that NONE is the best goalie in the league. Jas0nMacIsaac
I will say Vrana and surprise Fraser who will last 2 months untill Corrente has some games under his belt.
oconnellrules
is everyone kidding?! vrana still isnt strong enough on the puck. i dont think hes quite ready for the NHL.
Prucenterrules
Possibly Vrana. The numbers are against Corrente but if he has a great camp he could be in the mix. I think Corrente has a good chance. Last year we had 8 defensemen. Right now we have 7 and I think he could take Brookbank's spot. The numbers are more against the forwards. Cal914
at the very least let Vrana on the team then send him down if there are complications like what happened with Pelley last year
Devils Pride 26
The name of this thread should be "Vrana can't be sent to the minors"

USC09
Corrente and Vrana. Bergfors and Halischuk will be periodic call ups. Its time to see what the guy chosen after Parise, not directly after Zach has in his arsenal. I think if he does make it, he can put up 10-17 goals this year. Devs4LIFE
I know I'll get a lot of crap for saying this but I'd like to see Vrana in between Elias and Rolston.
