section227
Someone's got a bid in on the Neidermayer. Almost $1300.00.Wow.... High, but when you see a Parise with no wear go for the same . . . . Chorske I don't think $500 for the Dano is high. I mean, it is DANO. From a pure supply side view, how many of those can exist?

From a pure supply side view, how many of those can exist? He played for the Devils for like 20 years. Take his rookie year and assume one set of each up until 89-90 or 90-91 and then he wore two until the mid 90's where he wore three sets. Throw in a preseason of each colour every other year and well... there is a lot. Probably some were recycled too, but there are good bit out there, just not for sale. I'm half tempted to let go my pre-season. It has good wear. If someone is ever interested I'd take an offer.

Chorske17
The problem with a player like Daneyko is, since he's so popular, his jerseys tend to get locked up in collections. I know mine are never being moved!I think a preseason is a good replacement at a decent price for someone who can't find a regular season. A game worn Dano is a game worn Dano! Having said that, i also price any Daneyko jerseys i see on the market ballpark to what i paid for mine. I think $500 is high for a Dano preseason. I can't justify only a $200-250 difference between a preseason and two patched regular season jersey(s). At the Draft Day sale, Rich wanted $800 for a 00-01. I offered him $700 because i'd have to add $100 for a MGG letter and $700 was in my ballpark. Rich wouldn't budge. I wasn't paying $800 then another $100. Those Chorske will be mine and I will happily post on GW.Net for Dixon to see, that I have FOUND my GRAIL! Well, maybe not.

They bring them out once per year and then lock in a closet? I don't understand. Why not give them to MeiGray on consignment? Or put on the NJD site? Or auction in the "game day experience" in place of the framed Crosby hanging untouched for several months? I called them last year two days after the sale about a jersey, ready and willing to pay full price. No luck. Makes absolutely no sense.

3CUPSN9
Sent you info Jordan...Anyone see any wear on the set 3's? Besides Brodeur nothing really... Check that, nice puck mark across the N on Paul Martins jersey. Also the Brodeur and Parise jerseys on auctions.nhl.com ended. Parise at 1,000 and Brodeur at 3,450. Good price for that Brodeur jersey, but it was only worn one game 2 out 3 periods. Plus there was an inscription on the fight strap. Saw the Martin mark...must have been blind on Brodeur as I didn't see a thing. Set 3's seem to be hit or miss... either GOOD wear or it looks like a GI. The auction was pretty much a joke. I'm happy to not have wasted any time or money on it regardless of price. I find them to be a joke.

The second highest bidder on the Brodeur is the guy who sold me my Brylin and Langenbrunner jerseys, and the original owner of the Gionta SCF I'll be getting. 3CUPSN9
toamy is Mike Wilson. I guess he didn't leave the hobby after all. That's what he told me when i had my deal with him and why he put his jerseys on midget.net auctions. I think a person is better off saying they are " dumping a sh!tload of jerseys to buy something else at another time".JOEDEVIL is a big $ Devils collector as i was told by MeiGray. He's also a suite holder. He's the same one that dropped $45,000 on Crosby's winter classic and has won multiples of specialty night devils jerseys. By the way I think this past Brodeur auction was our best shot at getting a Marty gamer and splitting it 10 ways at a decent price.
