MB3
Absolutely awesome save.. the announcer says "that's the save of the year, and it isn't even the year yet!" http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_dadd...?urn=nhl,112105
nmigliore
Brodeur will find a way to beat that But thats a very nice save in any case
Devs4LIFE
I just saw it today. Great save, good hand eye coordination and awareness of the puck.
devilsfan26
Eh it's pretty cool he knocked the puck away like that but if you look at the overhead angle you can clearly see that the point where the puck would have crossed the goal line is at least a foot away from the net anyway, unless Holmstrom makes some kind of ridiculous play and bats it out of the air and into the net as he is falling to the ice. Confusious
I roll my eyes whenever someone calls him "Jesus" Price.
MB3
I roll my eyes whenever someone calls him "Jesus" Price. It's his nickname.. And it's funny, because lately I've been rolling my eyes whenever you post.
Rock
It's a very good save. It really says something of Marty that he seems to make one of those types of saves every game.

thelastonealive
Great play, but it doesn't seem like it would have gone in anyway...Though there was a Wing on the doorstep so there was probably a chance he would have hammered it home. Impressive nonetheless.

Mr. Martin Brodeur I think this one's a little closer...at least it's the one that I thought of when I saw Price's stop.

MB3
I missed the part where I'm supposed to care. Don't worry, your reading isn't *that* pathetic, I never said you had to care.
Prucenterrules
I still like Brodeur's save from last year where he just lifted his hand over his head and hit the puck better then this save.
nmigliore
Don't worry, your reading isn't *that* pathetic, I never said you had to care. Man your still trolling people its like every thread i click on you posted something off topic to make a comment about someone else. On topic: Yeah I agree this save immediately made me think of Brodeur's save he made vs SJ. Someone posted a video of that earlier/above ^^ .. Marty will undoubtedly find some way to outdo this probably .. Edited October 4, 2008 by nmigliore
brodeurrocks
Great save by Price. The kid is a heck of a goalie who will make many more like that over his career.
Masked Fan
Saw Prices save. While it was excellent coordination, and it may have saved a rebound attempt, it wouldn't have even gone in on its own. While those Brody examples were absolute MONEY saves!
Neutral Zone Trap
Absolutely awesome save.. the announcer says "that's the save of the year, and it isn't even the year yet!"http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_dadd...?urn=nhl,112105 That was a desperation swipe with his stick, more luck than judgement, It'll be interesting to see if price can prove he's legit, there is a lot of hype with him at the moment ( well it is Montreal and all) but he collapsed in the playoffs. He kinda reminds me of a goaltender who plays his home games not too far from the rock, a little overrated if you ask me, and I wouldn't read too much into that "gold medal" he won with team Sweden, I could have won gold playing behind that team. David Puddy
Nice hand-eye coordination, but it wasn't a save.

annabelle
yeah it was fluky...but wasn't it Marty that said the best saves are usually mistakes..lol!
MB3
So this wasn't really a "great save"? It was "luck"? Well, what was it when Marty made that incredible stop against the sharks? Wasn't that an amazing save? Or was that just lucky too.
