oconnellrules
I am watching the preseason games and the first 2 reg season and one glaring observation needs to be discussed. the weight ( apparently 6 lbs of muscle) that Zach put on in the offseason has definitely made a difference. He is stronger on the puck and seems to be a little quicker. All things considered, how good do you think he can get? I will go out on a limb and say he will have at least one 50 goal year and a few 40 goal seasons during his career. He is that good. I don't think that's going out on a limb too much. He could get there.
nmigliore
He looks incredible out there this year, i know its only been 2 games but hes always skating hard and causing havoc.. and scoring.. he looks like so determined to score every shift Could be a 40+ year Edited October 12, 2008 by nmigliore

nick17112
I see no limits to the things he can accomplish Yes I truly believe he may well crack 40 goals this season. The young lad is a top quality hard skater and has a real eye for goal. That shot in off the pipe lastnight was sweet, although the pass by Zajac was immense. Exciting players
Triumph
I think 40 goals is around his top end. He's a tremendous player but he's not double-shifted and doesn't have All-Star level top speed. I think he'll consistently be in the 25-35 goal range.

Prucenterrules
Parise isin't even in his prime and already has 2 30+ goal seasons. 40 goals is deffinetly within reach this season.
adavid
What makes Zach so good is his ability to score that big goal.
sokar
i think zack parise is the future for the devils and in a couple of years i think the leader of the devils
devilsrule33
What I love about Parise is that he is rarely on the top line...it doesn't matter who he plays with. He doesn't rely on anyone else like so many top scorers in the game. He just finds ways to score.

DaneykoIsGod
He is on pace for 82 goals. And 41 game-winners. In all seriousness though, Zach will go as far as the can carry him ... those awesome, awesome .

Mike441
I think he cracks 40 THIS YEAR. he might score 50 one year, maybe. But on the post game Dano said he would be future captain of the New Jersey Devils.
aylbert
I think its obvious Parise will be captain when Langenbrunner is done with the team/retires. I can see Parise putting up 30/35 goals consitantly flirting with the 40s and reaching a 50 maybe. But year in and out, we can see 30g+/30a+. Anything else is that nice extra but not expected. I soooooooooo wanted to joke I can see Parise staying at 5'11, despite his mothers defense that he's still a growing boy... oh yea, I just did. Deek_1969
I had dejavue of the first game Parise played against the Pens......Our rookie is better than yours. The kid has come into his own and will put up some serious points this year. What a freaking game winning blast. I also mentioned during the Isle game that Zajac looked like he had come around from last years disappointing season. Look who tossed the puck down the ice to Parise. DevilNurn
100 pts I'd love to see it but not on this team. I see him as a 40-goal-scorer for the next perhaps 5 or 6 years. I say he can reach maybe the 80-point plateau but he has to give the passes to someone (Zajac?) for more assists than goals.

nyrsuck26
I will be surprised if Parise doesn't score 40 this year, unless he's injured (knock on wood)
