DaneykoIsGod
http://njmg.typepad.com/devilsblog/2008/12...s-recovery.html The quote of the week goes to Lou doing his best Jesse Jackson/Don King impression.

SatansDevils
Really good news to hear about Brodeur. Hopefully he will be back by March 5th and knowing him if he is a fast healer he could be back sooner. I'll take March 5th which is his targeted comeback. LucifersDog
Why rush, we are doing well without him? The team is playing better offensively and defensively without him as a crutch. The team relies on him too much and becomes inconsistent and they don't give a full effort when he is in goal especially when he lets in a softy. aylbert
Offensively, yes. Defensively? Not to sure about it. Mr. Weekes would clearly have an argument about the defense... while Clemmenson just points to the notches in the W column...
SueNJ97
http://njmg.typepad.com/devilsblog/2008/12...s-recovery.htmlThe quote of the week goes to Lou doing his best Jesse Jackson/Don King impression. “He’s going to do more every single day going forward,” Lamoriello said. “As long as there is no regression, there’s always progression.” Also sounds like Walt 'Clyde' Frazier saying the Knicks were experiencing "attrition in transition" Edited December 18, 2008 by SueNJ97

I'll take March 5th which is his targeted comeback. If I were Lou or Sutter there is no way in hell i am letting him come back any sooner than that March 5th date. I don't care what Marty tells them or what the docs say give him all the time he needs and then some just to make sure. lol
adavid
continue without brodeur this team is playing amazing hockey <Clippped and saved for later> We'll see if that's the case 3 months from now.

DuffMan4027
I agree with maybe playing him at Lowell but with his contract can he? I mean I don't see Marty having a two way contract

No disrespect Pru, but if I were Lou, no way in hell do I put Brodeur in Lowel for a game. That's a perfect opportunity for some career AHL goon to hurt Marty. I understand the idea of getting Marty back on the stick after 4 months off the ice, but seriously- if he got injured in an AHL game, I think my head would spontaneously explode.
