My first GDT :koolaid:

After a big 5-1 win over the Kings last night, including 3 power play goals, it is time to see if the Devils can keep the momentum on their road trip.

Accuscore Forecast

Probability of a fight:57.1%

Avg. Projected Score:

Devils 2.7

Ducks 3.1

Tonight is a big game and a good one bewteen two good teams that almost play the same systems. The Devils got off on the right track last night by beating up the Kings and look to do the same to the Ducks. The Ducks have lost their last two games and they have two goalies that have not been playing all that well in Hiller and Giguere. Hiller played the last game and looked pretty bad, so I think the Devils will see Giguere in goal. Clemmensen to face the Ducks and to get off his two game losing streak.

The Devils finally got their PP unit going last night scoring 3-PPG and hopefully the PP will continue to play the way they did last night. They have to capitalize on their scoring chances when on the PP. The PK has improved and last night the PK did their job along with a soild game from the defenseman and Kevin Weekes.

The Devils need to score first and take the Ducks crowd out of the game because they are going to be loud and wild tonight knowing the Devils are in town for a game. The boys will see and old friend and player in Scott Niedermayer and this should be a good game to watch tonight after a day of NFL playoff football.

GET THE WIN DEVILS and GET ER DONE! :koolaid:

Referees: Paul Devorski, Dennis LaRue

Linesmen: Mike Cvik, Brian Mach

Amazing that a relatively "local" referee to New Jersey in Devorski who resides near Hershey, PA didn't work any Devils games until Thursday's Atlanta debacle but now gets assigned to a Devils game 4 days later way the hell out in Orange County, CA.

I'm annoyed that Pierre Champioux presided over consecutive Devils losses.

But, I must always bring up Champioux in any discussion of referees and linesmen.
