Is he threatening retirement? I know he is just talking about where he would LIKE to go.

I pray to the Norse gods that he signs back in Baltimore.

Nope, he's threatening retirement- he apparently said he would retire before returning to Baltimore. He's being a fvcking dick about the whole thing.

I guess this will put to test if he really wants to play with the Cowboys...especially because re-upping D-Ware is the Cowboys top priority and there won't be much cap room for FA anyway....plus good ole Jerry said he wouldn't make a splash this year but who knows with him...

I say Ray-ray works out a deal but I could be wrong...if not he's going to.................eh, i couldn't even take an educated guess at this point in time

I just watched a clip on NFL Network. Ray-Ray is NOT coming back to Baltimore. It looks like the freeing of Coles makes Cap space for Lewis and IVY.

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in...-signing-of.htm

The Dolphins signed Cowboys OL Joe Berger to a 3-year deal. Good signing- he'll push Satele for the starting center job- good depth guy at worst.

And Manta, good news for you (and me- and all the other Dolphins fans): according to Newsday, Bart Scott has left the Jets facility and has not signed- he is on his way back to Baltimore. I'll try to find a link... :boogie:

Edit: There's a ton of speculation about Scott. Who the hell knows what's true and what isn't at this point, so we'll just have to see.

Yeah it seems like Scott's finally signed with the Jets. Gives them a nice middle of the D with Harris if they stay with the 3-4.

And almost as importantly the Jets are addressing the secondary. They've worked out a trade with the Eagles for Lito Sheppard - a 5th rounder and a conditional pick that'll range from 2nd-4th depending on playing time and also signed Corey Ivey and are talking to Jim Leonhard (safety), whoever that is.

Brandon Moore also re-signed.

as if Jets need more a reason to celebrate...

Lito Sheppard-DB-Eagles Feb. 27 - 8:52 pm et

The Jets and Eagles have agreed to a trade that will send a 2009 fifth-round pick and a 2010 conditional pick to the Eagles.

The 2010 pick could be anywhere between a second and fourth-round pick, presumably depending on Sheppard's playing time.

I'll find a source in a minute.

The Giants are a signature away from wrapping up their first free agent of the 2009 offseason: Linebacker Michael Boley.

According to a source familiar with the discussions, the Giants and Boley have agreed to terms on what is expected to be a five-year, $25 million contract. His agent, Doug Hendrickson, has been in contact throughout the day with the Giants and earlier had worked out the basic parameters of a deal. The deal, though, is now

Damn. Leonhard came out of nowhere and played like an all-pro for us. Ryan signed him as a camp walk on and he learned the system quicker than anyone in Ravens history. He is a STEAL if the Jets sign him.

Pats trade Cassell to Chiefs for a 2nd rd pick

http://clarkjudge.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/...384866/13817722

Nice for KC, they have their QB.

Im excited about the Jets moves.. as for the offense, our QB is not a big issue; nothing can be worse than last year :whistling:

I guess so, but you'd think they could have squeezed more then a 2nd ya know?

I thought the same thing. I mean, I understand if the Chiefs didn't want to give up their first rounder, but why not a 2nd and a 3rd or this yrs 2nd and next yrs 2nd? Doesn't make much sense to me. But then again, I haven't built any Super bowl champion teams.
