Shtikl
Well deserved, this one. Congratulations, Hot Rod! PS -- while it lasts (which might not be very long) here is the bobblehead. Pelley's not doing crossovers (so it doesn't look like he's feeling urgency ) and I think they got the handedness correct this time. FWIW I don't know how big this one will be, but Fraser's on the same scale as the Brodeur bobbly (his stick's longer than Brodeur's ) and they're both about an inch taller than last year's lone bobbly of Stephen Gionta. Anybody want to guess who'll be the third one? Edited March 3, 2009 by Shtikl

Shtikl
Mike O'Brien? I'd expect Ryan Johnston to come first.
JWomp
I'm guessing the third will be Frazee...there was an ad on the Lowell site a while back that showed silhouettes of the three bobbleheads, and one looked like it was a goalie. I really need to get my hands on these! I still haven't gotten the Stephen Gionta one either. I wish I lived closer to Lowell...I'd definitely be at a lot of these games. I don't understand why the team doesn't have more than 2,000 of each bobblehead made. They could sell some on the website and at other games at merchandise stands if they had more made. If anything, the more they ordered, the cheaper each piece would cost to produce. EDIT: Here's the photo I was talking about: http://www.lowelldevilshockey.com/tickets/...leheadbonus.php Edited March 3, 2009 by JWomp

EDIT: Here's the photo I was talking about: http://www.lowelldevilshockey.com/tickets/...leheadbonus.php Jordan, I think the reason for the 2K is two-fold: 1) The $ from the sponsors to produce the giveaways comes from existing sponsorship deals. What I mean by that is that Pepsi, for example, agrees to pay $X for a sponsorship deal with the team in a given season. If Pepsi agrees to sponsor a giveaway, the money for that comes from the existing deal, not a new one. Thus, there is no benefit to the team to do more if 2K is that all Pepsi wants to do. 2) Before this season, Lowell was not getting much more than 2K even on big giveaway nights. The team does not want to explain to the sponsor that it only gave out 2500 bobbleheads and is now forced to eat or sell the remaining dolls. I think that the success this year with some of their giveaways may enable the team to increase the number in the future.
Shtikl
Is there a way to put up a request for an item on eBay? Like maybe the "Want It Now" section? (I'm not a member so I can't look.) There were Monarchs fans at the game Saturday who really don't care about the L-Devils, maybe they would part with theirs rather than throwing them away. I don't see any on craigslist for NH or Boston but you might post a "Wanted" ad and maybe get lucky.
