pattyelias
why is this not sold out yet?i think it was wonderful that montreal gave marty such an ovation but if we cant even pack the house for this record breaking event do we even deserve him? Because the only unsold tickets are obscenely expensive. Are you gonna plop down $250, $120 or $115 for a ticket tomorrow?
Marv4Life
Someone crazy enough will buy those tickets, even if it's Vanderbeek.
pattyelias
Someone crazy enough will buy those tickets, even if it's Vanderbeek. Exactly. There is no way tomorrow isn't announced as 17,625. There will actually be 17,500+ people in the house and it will be loud. The Devils better get things done.

That would be me. Justified the $250 price with the "piece of history" reference. Can't put a price on that.

the cyknus
How much did you pay for your tickets? nuthin' company tix but if the ticket prices are too much for even a game like this, something is really wrong with the ticket pricing. What's the over/under on when the $10 line reaches Brick City? I'd say 11 o'clock, but I'll take the under on this one because I know there are enough crazy people to get there before 11 Edited March 16, 2009 by Colin226

MantaRay
DUDE! What if he loses?!?! Then I put it in the other "potential" history making memory bank, next to the $500 ticket for GAME 6 of the SC Finals against Colorado.

The Devils can get 16,500 on almost any weekend game. The 1,000 tickets that won't sell are the $100 and $95 seats upstairs and a lot of the $115 and $120 seats downstairs. Those prices make this arena sellout proof in most cases. The arena probably has around 8-9,000 seats priced at a face value of $95 and above. Its difficult to convince that many people to pay those prices for a hockey game, especially in this economic climate.
