RSC
God no. Well Holik retired, so at least 1/3 of that isn't true The other 2/3....I dunno
theamazingtiny
Calgary Flames 2010 Stanley Cup Champions. mark it down.
devils26
Here's hoping there's some kind of way tampering can be proven. Maybe Lou's control freakishness caused him to bug all of the Devils' facilities, so we could use his talks with Daryl as evidence. BTW, those pictures with Sutter are great. Someone needs to make them into a sign and bring them when the Devs play Calgary.
RowdyFan42
Calgary Flames 2010 Stanley Cup Champions. mark it down. Meh. If he couldn't take the Devils all the way, what makes you think he can do that with the Flames?
Prucenterrules
Calgary Flames 2010 Stanley Cup Champions. mark it down. sutter will change the system with a few games left and they will lose in the 1st round.
thelastonealive
Meh. If he couldn't take the Devils all the way, what makes you think he can do that with the Flames? Yeah. First round flame out (pun only moderately intended) against the Oilers. Well, of course, assuming the Oilers manage to make the playoffs, anyway. DaneykoIsGod
Calgary Flames 2010 Stanley Cup Champions. mark it down. But Sutter isn't there to win the Cup. He's there to be closer to his family.
Colin226
But Sutter isn't there to win the Cup. He's there to be closer to his family. He did it for the children, peace on Earth, and puppies

Elias FTW
I'm just htinking it's the absolute worse case scenario so of course itwill happen. I don't see why you say that. It was clear that he didn't want to be here if he lied about all of this.

SC Devs Fan
If his heart wasn't here then I'm glad he's gone. Not like he was the best coach in the league or even the best coach we ever had. His loss will be minimal. "I am not a quitter".... I mean "I am a quitter".
MantaRay
After listening to Sutter in an interview shortly after announcing his resignation, I totally believed that Sutter was honest when he said we would not coach this year and he needed time off for family matters. Devils1985
On the bright side, Calgary fans get to endure his wonderfully incisive press conferences instead of us.

Souray44
This just really disgusts me. I understand his family issues and wants to be home. I get that. Then wait a year until you contract is up and coach another team. I am fine with that. Now he weasels his way out of NJ and is ready to coahc Calgary. Brent is being a weasel and has no itengrity. I hope he feels good about this.........
Jerrydevil
I know the speculation has been out there since April. It doesn't change the fact that this stinks on ice. I 100% agree with DevilinLA's sentiments. Indefensible move. Nice that he can have his cake and eat it, too.
