95Crash
I'll always remember him as that major player who came out of Alcorn State, when really nobody, myself included, knew of anyone who came from that school. SatansDevils
Shocked! What a terrible loss to the NFL and their communities of Nashville TN. Died way too young at the age of 36. Shame. He was one hell of a QB that played hurt a lot and knew how to play the position. He was a great college QB back at Alcorn St. too where he shattered many college QB records. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends and as well as his companions family and friends. RIP Steve McNair. ghdi
Stunned for sure. It will be interesting to see what happened. News out of Nashville is that it *may* have been a murder suicide with the girl offing McNair and then herself.
MadDog2020
Without a doubt the TOUGHEST QB I've ever seen play. What a tragedy.... RIP Steve. Prayers to the family. Edited July 5, 2009 by MadDog2020
Don
I just watched "The TSN Reporters" and one had just spoken Bart Andrus, head coach of the Toronto Argonauts and Andrus was the QB coach of the Titans when they made the SB against the Rams. He had just extended an invitation to McNair to come and visit the squad in the hopes of luring him to the CFL. Would have been good to see him back in football... and maybe the Argos could have beat somebody OTHER than Hamilton this year....
Satans Hockey
Well it appears to be that Steve wasn't the clean cut man everyone thought he was.
Prucenterrules
I was watching a show about him on the NFL network today. It was so upsetting.
devilsadvoc8
Well it appears to be that Steve wasn't the clean cut man everyone thought he was. Bingo. A talented athlete but no hero or role model. The real tragedy is the impact to his kids who are innocent as he was running around with at least one gf while still married.
ghdi
Well it appears to be that Steve wasn't the clean cut man everyone thought he was. I don't think any of them are. Except Peyton Manning. He's so clean his sh!t probably has glitter in it. The McNair story is sad. It's sad he went out this way, but the already mentioned things about his family and children is even worse.
