M.
I can't understand why the big companies want to spend $70-$80 million on an 18 year old kid who has yet to play a single NBA game just to wear some stupid sneakers. It's sick.
SBT
LeBron. King James. The phenom. The Nuggets had better get that Number One pick!
'7'
don't know much about him, but he's being hyped as the next Jordan Air-Lebron's are the next big thing.
Nieuwy25
I agree ^7^. Kids don't even have to earn anything at the pro level before they have a bajillion dollars thrown at them. Unbelievable!
M.
Now- take a case like the Red Wings top prsopect. Let's say that Easton had signed this kid to a trillion dollar deal, but now he's hurt & may never live up to his potential as a top pick (like that's never happened), does he have to give back the $$$$? Probably not, unless it's written into the contract like that. Even then, it's probably a clause to just end the contract at that point. David Puddy
My guess is that the contracts are written so that the player gets something, but not everything if that happens.
