For a Canadian, after you win a Stanley Cup, the biggest thing is to win a best on best tournament, whether it be the Olympics or the Canada/World Cup. That's when the best of the best go at it in real competition, and Canadians grow up on junior tournament victories and a belief that the major international tournaments belong to us. International hockey is a really big deal in Canada. It's also a big deal to an athlete in general to win in a best on best, just for the love of competition.
