eaglejelly
They need to introduce a cap to the Olympics. The Canadians are hogging all the good players. How is a country like Germany supposed to compete?

Pepperkorn
Why are Americans planning a team Canada? Why not plan a team USA -- is Scott Gomez THAT detestable that we must turn our back on our own country? Nahhh... so let me go think about team USA and give her her own post! SS-SS
They need to introduce a cap to the Olympics. The Canadians are hogging all the good players. How is a country like Germany supposed to compete? You think Canada is too powerful well watch out for Russia.Just look at the type of line you can get Ovechkin-Malkin-Kovalchuk.....and then you got other big names like Datsyuk Semin etc etc...i think i would bet on Russia this year
Prucenterrules
Canada has a stacked team this year and will likely threaten for the Gold.
Don
We were supposed to win Gold last time and we couldn't score a goal to save our lives. It was a brutal example of supreme firepower going *poof*. I think they didn't have enough setup guys like Marc Savard who will be great out there.... oh, wait... he didn't even get invited to the tryout. I mean, look at that second line. You have 3 goal scorers and no set-up man. Now while those are just your suggested lines, we DID something similar last time. And I think we will make the same mistake again... load up on goal scorers and forget someone actually has to pass the puck.

Chimaira_Devil_#9
That third line sticks out like a sore thumb. That team is really strong at the back, what a group of D-men that would be. Just depends if they can keep up with the Russian forwards. As with every Olympics i will be cheering for Sweden untill team GB gets back into the competition. So maybe sometime in 2050 or something i might be able to see that happen. Untill then i will just have to cling onto the fact that GB won gold in 1936
Don
That third line sticks out like a sore thumb. Third line is supposed to be the penalty killer. I don't think they want defensive specialists like Madden (I think Draper filled that role on the team last time). But rather they are looking for guys that can play at both ends of the ice. Devs4LIFE
When you look at the list of Canadian born centers I doubt Zajac will crack the lineup.
