thelastonealive
He's really into golf. Of course he is, he's had so much time to partake in the sport these last few off-seasons. ...sorry, I'm not usually in the jump-on-Marty crowd, but it was just too easy to pass up this time. Maybe that's why he let up those 2 softies with 80 left. He was really looking forward to golfing.
Prucenterrules
Crasher? LucifersDog? C'mon!! Where are the "fvck you Marty" people! I don't want to see lastone doing it, say no! Just say no tl1a! Hugs, not drugsMarty hatred! Really surprized neither has posted in here yet.
LucifersDog
Those were soft questions that were asked!!!!! I would have asked why can't he stay focused in the playoffs? Followed with why he doesn't take ownership of his poor play? and then what happen during the last 80 seconds did he see a way to get to the golf course sooner? And last I would ask him if he is still screwing every girl he can even while married? How's that?

For someone who takes so much pride in "bashing Brodeur" (to the point of which you obviously enjoy the fact that others here on this site associate you with that) - I imagine he would answer along the lines of: "I've helped in giving the fans of the franchise 3 stanley cups, a marqee Hall-of-Fame player (whose will hold a significant NHL record for quite a while), and along with other key players and management contributed to building a team that the state of NJ can be proud of." If he never played another game for the Devils he would have already done enough. I'm no Marty-worshipper, but I would love for him (or anyone else) to ask you: "What have you done with your life other than bitch on a message board?"(A board that without him would probably not exist) Go back to your cubicle and your insignificant life. Brodeur is at least an athlete who has earned this level of scrutiny/attention from hard work and tough play....you earn yours from a cheap computer keyboard. How's that? CRASHER
Really surprized neither has posted in here yet. 1. I worked today 2. I walked my six miles after 3. the questions would be moderated (in other words I really had better things to do in the real world? )

Pepperkorn
I really liked that. I liked what he wanted put out there for us. It's a really good message - shows he's in a productive state of mind. Had to throw in the Madden line -- I'm getting the idea now though, that Marty is just very openly sentimental - he's emotionally loyal. Thing of it is -- I can just see that push comes to shove his feelings are... I don't want to say shallow - just fleeting. He doesn't form huge deep loyalties - he generally loves most guys it seems. He wants to support so many - hard to articulate. He's just not an intense kind of guy. He's sincere and emotional but not very intense. I think that's healthy - it's work for me to understand it though.

LD/GR is enjoying his dotage now. He was a military man I believe - that's the story anyhow - he's done a lot, and even if it gets sort of lame and silly even, he's for sure earned the right to bitch about whatever he wants as much as he wants... it's just hard to know that on a message board. I plan on sitting on my ass taking pot shots at young 'ens when I'm 70 or so. I think that's a good decade to start - just in case I dont get much further.... DevilinLA
Would he have earned his scrutiny from hardwork if his computer keyboard was expensive? Youre a very bitter person Really devlman? This guy takes any and every opportunity to shoot at Marty (both on ice and off), revels in the fact that this board recognizes him for that, and I'm the bitter one??? Listen, say what you want about MB's ego and his recent lacluster playoff issues, but I don't care if LD/GR is 90 and led the first sortie into Korea as a 3 star General - leave the guy's personal life out of it! (no one here is perfect)

[as much as i've read] hes been laying off marty since the board wanted to ban him
