DevilMinder
What does everyone think of the automatic Tom Gulitti feed? Most of his topics get immediately posted right away by users usually.
CADevilsFan
Do you have his okay for that?
DevilMinder
The feeds are for public use, otherwise they wouldn't provide the means to use it. The poll is not showing much favor for this feature so far.
NJDevs4978
Is it really neccesary for it to be both here and in the blog feeds? Plus it looks better on his own blog than it does the posts here anyway (when they get autoposted) and his blog posts fill up the folder in this forum too fast. Vic Rattlehead18
I check the blog feeds daily anyway...I voted no.
sundstrom
while i get them in my rss feed anyway, i don't think it's terrible to have them here - its a place where we can comment on the news.
Hell in Boston #30
To be honest, I check his blog / twitter everyday, so seeing the same thing here posted here gets annoying.
DevilNurn
No, only because about half of his posts are necessarily post-worthy, and some only post-worthy for about a sentence which we can decide for ourselves. I think the feed would be necessary if our members weren't so vigilant, but since they are, I think it's unnecessary.

nmigliore
i dont like it either.. plus dont you still need to go through the bot's posts and edit them to make the article shorter? seems like too much of a hassle especially when posters follow and post TG's latest stuff. Triumph
i'm not a fan. every thread is par99 and tom gulliti. and the articles are formatted terribly, so you have to go to fire and ice to read them anyway.
DevilMinder
I guess that was a resounding No. I changed the feed so it will go into the news folder like the other ones.
CRASHER
I thought it was another "Jeff Friesen" type poster anyway to be honest
RowdyFan42
I liked it, but then again, this is where I come for my Devils news, so it's not likely I'd see his stuff elsewhere first. And like someone else said, most of his work gets posted here anyway. To the person who complained about too many of the posts being one sentence, that's because there's actually two feeds: one of his blog, and the other of his Twitter. And for those concerned about the article length, like DM said, it's up to the feed provider to pare that down if they're really worried about it. However, I think we do have the ability to only post a certain amount of content if enough of you guys feel it might be a problem. But, since DM's going to be moving it to the Feeds folder, I doubt it'll be an issue; no one seems to be upset about us posting full Puck Daddy articles or 2MA posts. USC09
As long as it keeps Par99 from posting anything I am fine with it.
brickwall30
I said i liked it only because it's nice to have a njdevs only comment section for all his news. that really seems to be the only practicality to it, but to those that don't like it and state they get put up anyways etc etc why not have a bot do the work for us and just get them up when they are posted. seems smart to me personally unless people are worried about not getting their personal post quota's filled because a bot is beating them to it ... Devs4LIFE
I'd rather just have the users post the articles. No one seems to have discussions on the Tom Gulitti submitted posts anyway.

No, what I meant about that was that even from his full-length blogs, a sentence is just usually what will be of concern to us, the rest of the article isn't necessarily interesting or relevant or news. I've actually never checked his twitter, I only check his blog.
Chimaira_Devil_#9
I agree with most here, not a fan, i check TG regularly and it leaves little for others to post about. I do like it being used in the News feed section (which is a great feature.
Swede
often the people that post his blog has a topic or a thought that is communicated together with the link. That is more likely to get actual discussion than just a sterile post of the blog. I'd vote for not continuing
