Us Census Worker Found Dead

We're just getting to this now? and it happened how long ago?

I have to read this link to see if they have any new info, but they had suspected it was drug related -- paranoid druggies thinking it was a front for Narc investigations.

D. Puddy and loonofrostloono implied it was Congrewoman Michele Bachmann's "rhetoric" that led to his murder.

The suicide determination was just revealed yesterday.

Well... it is standard political tactic to rabble rouse, as counter intuitive as it may seem. The rabble rousing described in this thread has LOOOOOOONG been used by the Democrats - it's standard union practice to consolidate support. How can you have voter solidarity if there's no shared public outrage? Just, it's weird for the seemingly Union supportive posters to be sanctimonious about it.

Who are the union supporting posters?

Well - I knew someone would call me on that <_<

Basically my union and most unions I'm aware of are Democrats -- blanket unabashed Democrats. My union (not my performing arts unions BTW - they have real issues -- this one is a numbers game union that really isn't applicable to my position - but because I work for a healthcare & research facility RWJMS it's mandatory union membership what Effing BS! Nurses seriously NEED the union and our numbers actually fvck them over at the bargaining table -- SO STUPID!!! :argh: I'm also stuck is a teachers union... sigh....) which has not even gotten our hiring institution (because they are state funded) to the bargaining table in the last 2 years wanted us to give our full support to Gov Corzine. The dude SAYS he's all for state employee benefits but then does nothing but propose cuts and our union says he;s the candidate to give our support to? WTF? They gave me their reasons but I have gotten NO PAY INCREASE and they want in fact to deduct 1.5% of my salary from THE PAST TWO YEARS... not just going forward - to my benefits. again WTF? I'm fully grant funded and my boss CANNOT give me an increase on his own because we are a state funded institution... I could go on -- in any event -- the union mindset was so INCREDIBLY obtusely Democrat - no discussion and we get email after email of Democrat propaganda... :argh:

but of course everyone says they don't support unions and they aren't Democrats when pressed. I say i'm not a Republican -- but I did vote for Christie this election. Voted for Corzine in the last. :noclue: I say I'm liberal because I'm pretty progressive as opposed to stagnant in my views. Funding for the Arts is a huge priority for me, I'm pro-choice and approve of govt funding for abortion - though I AM anti-late stage abortion. I'm anti healthcare for illegal aliens but pro opening up our laws to make it easier for people to choose to immigrate if they love it here.

anyhow -- in all my experience Unions have been Democrats in Union clothing.

The State PBA put out a questionaire to Christie and Corzine about police views, etc.

Every answer was the same until they got to the part about funding our pensions as they are required to do........Christie said he wants to catch up and fully replentish the pension funds. Corzine says he cannot now, "so we can sustain our first responsibilities, our children, our seniors, and 'most vulnerable'"

Last I looked, cops have kids too......

So while Christie sayd he'll fund the pensions, the State PBA does an end around and "endorses" Corzine, even though I literaly have yet to find ONE cop who voted for him.

Brilliant post as the quote above really sums up just how far the corruption and top heavy payouts have made people like myself pissed off along with union members themselves.

People talk about religion and "Christians" as sheep but unions are worse as "members" typically cant walk away because from the golden handcuffs like a pension (or two, three etc) while a Christian can choose whatever faith they want if he or she is looking for a "choice". Analogy and that is all.

Socialism is nothing more than a simple distortion of Marxism as socialism is a simple step in the process moving forward to a perfect utopian worker paradise.

With "no shared public outrage", the union will either implode over time (NJ Police)and demand new leaders or be paid on merit and work ethic. Is it fair for a tenured police officer to be paired with a rookie based on his creed or color while he or she was given a better chance at a position while they scored lower on a test and the top recruit walks? No.

This is why unions suck! We are a performance based society being dumbed down by hypocrites making union/political decisions from Trenton and DC. Support the police and firefighters as they know what being paid on aptitude and performance is like while the local public works drain us dry!
