Bonehead move by Ballard. Though with how often you see guys swing their sticks in anger after a goal, it's kind of surprising it doesn't happen more often. The Gaboriks almost went up 3-2 when Marian Gaborik had a great chance to go for the lead with only a few seconds left in the 2nd, but Gaborik had to follow the rest of the Gaboriks empty handed into the locker room. Washington has a 3-1 lead over Carolina in the 3rd. Pittsburgh up 3-2 on the Rangers in the 3rd. Pittsburgh Mike Rupp with 2-goals (now has 7 on the season his career high) in the game and the go ahead goal in the 3rd. Florida/Atlanta tied @ 3-3 in the 3rd. Rangers now outscored 18-6 in the last 3-games. Final in Toronto as Buffalo and Ryan Miller shutout Toronto 3-0. Final in Atlanta as Atlanta wins 4-3 over Florida and Scott Clemmensen. Final in Columbus as Columbus wins 5-2 over St. Louis.
