I've been a fan since the late 80's (since the days of SportsChannel, for those of you that remember). Since the Carolina debacle, I've had a hard time getting emotionally committed to this team again. I think for me that was the roughest loss since the Stanley Cup finals in '01. Acquiring Kovalchuk has totally re-energized me. Seeing him in a Devils jersey last night was incredibly exciting! So anyways, just wanted to say hello to all of my fellow Devils fans. If this is true it's great news. Gets me pumped up even more! Kovalchuk-Zajac-Parise Elias-Zubrus-Langenbrunner as our top 6. WOW! That's if Lemaire really plays Kovy with the Z's.
