Neb00rs
Does not include last night's game vs. Columbus http://www.inlouwetrust.com/2010/3/20/1382324/ilya-kovalchuk-after-15-games-as-a
msweet
His stats look much better now after 4 points last night
MantaRay
Not too much interested in his personal numbers than I am in plain W's. I am worried that our team has stopped playing "their" game and have been reduced to "give Kovy the puck" mentality.
bodnar41
I would have to agree with his personal life affecting him. He is relatively still young and never experienced a big move like this and his family being down south and awaiting the birth of a third child, it probably has been draining on him. I would venture to say that the good health of his wife and his kids will relieve some stress/anxiety he was dealing with and he will loosen up a bit and start to really take form with the devils. NJayDevil
Let's not forget his back check on Umberger's shorthanded breakaway. He reached and lifted the stick of RJ's causing the turnover and the miss opportunity. He worked his butt off last night. In fact every game with the exception of the Toronto game you saw him trying very hard in all areas. This guy wants to win so bad.
ZeroGravityFat
we needed a goal scorer that was going to distract the other teams with his presence and we got him. as long as we win with the rest of the team, i don't mind him not scoring every night. let the teams worry about him as we score with greene, martin, or even fvckin zubrus. Jerrydevil
Did anyone read that whole thing? I did not. Good grief, that's not an analysis, it's a term paper.

squishyx
Kovy was an absolute beast last night, he was all over the place and that's ignoring his 4 points. There was one or two times where I felt he was dancing with the puck a little to much, but on the other hand he's pretty damn good at it. TheIceDog
His rips from the left circle remind me of Mario.....devastating.
