NJDevs26
the power play didnt play that bad. 25% isnt horrible, its better than going 0/8 Really though they weren't even as good as the numbers would say on Sunday, the puck movement and shot selection was still dreadful other than the first goal by Rolston which was a seeing-eye shot that somehow went between two Flyers and through two other guys in front. I was getting a bit jealous seeing the Kings go 3-3 last night, the only time we've even been halfway that effective was against the Jackets. hystyk28
The Flyers are also a very hard team to play against on the power play. They are extremely aggresive on our puck carriers and basically block everything thats thrown towards the net. You beat an aggressive kill by shooting from everywhere. That's when they will try to block even more shots and that is when you can go cross ice/backdoor. We only have a few great passers and they key really well on those guys. The problem is we are not good at puck recovery on either the PP or 5 on 5. Whoever wins the boards tonight wins the game. I say the player to watch tonight is Zajac. He is getting good looks, he needs to finish one early for them.
