Masked Fan
I see four variables, and it's just a question of what ranks first and second. 1. $$ 2. LA 3. NJ 4. SKA Or 1. LA 2. $$ 3. NJ 4. SKA No Cup in those calculations?? The whole Sochi thing is just going to be used as a bargaining chip by Bettman in the new CBA talks; all the Russians will get to play, as will the Americans and Canadians and Ethiopians and Martians. And the Flying Asians, those crazy flying Asians...... This is true, ain’t no way even Assman squashes the good PR the NHL got this Olympics by not allowing the NHL into the next one. oh and fire & ice is down, further proof Kovalwatch is just a Russian attack on the USA. first the spies, now websites randomly crashing, someone find out if Mathew Broderick is trying to play Global Thermal Nuclear War! nice. This guy is my early pick for next seasons Hobie Baker! Are those pucks... or snack cakes? If it's the NHL holding things up... SOMEONE has to know about it and would have said something. With all the inside information that the TSN guys and others get... someone has to know. And it's like where in the world is Carmen SanDiego as to where Grossman and Kovy are. Carmen st. SanDiego is just a few miles from SD Bay off RT 94 I have a feeling this happens today. Book it. Did you post this from a time machine? How far ahead did you go??? :blah: :blah: :blah: Seriously -- we women can commiserate with how freaky we can be -- but you HAVE to take an objective look at men sometimes -- just as wacked - but with a shorter, incorrect memory so you make stuff up and then get all mad when women can repeat sh!t verbatim and you know they're right but "WHO GIVES A sh!t YOU PSYCHO BITCH?!?!?!?" summation Here is the pretty little lady who is holding everything up She’s got a real purdy mouth, ain’t she? Neb00rs
brodeur article regarding Kovy's free agency.. http://www.nj.com/devils/index.ssf/2010/07/martin_brodeur_happy_he_hasnt.html Thx for posting...great article. LD, analyze please! With Hedberg joining the Devils, there will be another season of attention on whether Brodeur plays fewer games.“The more I play, the better and I feel and the more we win. It’s all about making the playoffs,” Brodeur said. “You can’t have success in the playoffs if you don’t make the playoffs. “We’ll see, but I think having him back me up is a big luxury.” Doesn’t having Hedberg set the stage for more rest for Brodeur? “We thought the same when Weeksie (Kevin Weekes) came in,” he said. “He had played 300 games. “I think what (Hedberg) is going to bring is that ability if I don’t play well, or I’m tired or if I get hurt. You have a guy you’re not afraid to put in there. I’ve always liked him. I don’t know him much, but I know him enough to be comfortable about having him around. When we played against each other we’d always say hi to each other. Lol, just as I thought.

Masked Fan
Just shows you what a different planet these players are living on. I would work till I'm 90 if I was making 750k I would let them use my corpse to trap flys to stay on that payroll!! After I get up in a few minutes and leave the office. I'm done with it. I swear. I'm so aggravated at the time I've wasted. I don’t suppose I need to address the fact that you have posted at least 6 times since you stated you were outta here, do I. But most of the rest of LA is something that NJ can't compete with. Especially the areas that Kovalchuk would live. The waves crash the wrong way in LA. Just sayin’. Screws with yer surfin skillz. This. Ninja is brazilian. She made a few xxx. Movies. Ninja do funk is her stage name Hmm, after a little research it appears Chachorro is correct. Julia Paes is her real name. Sorry to say you messed up. Julias Paes is not the "Ninja do Funk" the ninja real name is "Amanda Mendes" . Since we talking about XXX, theres quite a few porn with the Ex-Wife of Foptballer Ronaldo ( The fatty Ronaldo). Her name is "Vivi Brunieri" Cachorro Louco for the Slava Fetisov Award!1! We had date night and I ate a HUGE tuna taco - rare... o m g I am soooo stuffed. Edited for truth. You go girl! Just one quick thing. Kovaochuk has not earned the kind of contract given to Marty or Stevens or Elias. Those guys were loyal. So the whole big bucks fir years and years doesn't it well w/ me. But in Lou we trust. Just not kovalchuk. : uni: Drink much at dinner tonight? Holy drunk typing Batman! What? Wouldn't you at least wanna be 50% accurate or 70% 2.3 is flimsy...I dont know maybe I'm mistaken. Though I can't help but notice... is it just me or did someone forget to shave their legs the day of the photo shoot? That’s how they roll. She is one fine P.O.A. I met a Brazilian hottie in Naples of all places, who had the same hair thing goin on. It did not matter 1 bit.
HOLLYWOOD
Latest rumor on the Twitter: @trevolutions So the rumour is #lakings have offered 100 mil over 15 years to Kovalchuk and he's going to accept. 6.7 mil cap hit. This has been confirmed by some contacts I have. Maybe AEG decided they need a big deal that won't flop like the wasted blunder of David Beckum and that ~$250 million. They're getting KOVY for well less than 1/2. Everybody knows, AEG has deep pockets and power, plus Tim Leiwete and Dean Lombardi met Friday with the board. Devils731
http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/rangers/dolan_whiffed_on_lebron_but_can_tZSPKB3VDPV738R5bJ1RvK Impeccable sources have told The Post that the Devils have a contract offer on the table to Kovalchuk for 17 years at more than $100 million, and front-loaded so that Kovalchuk would collect $100 million over the first 10 years of the deal. Yet the winger, who recorded 27 points (10-27) as a Devils' rental while enjoying his experience in New Jersey, hasn't accepted it. At the same time, though Los Angeles offers the glitter Kovalchuk understandably craves plus the opportunity to compete for the Stanley Cup, the Kings' latest offer of 12 years at $63.6 million as first reported by The Post on Twitter on Wednesday night, isn't going to get it done. Rock
From the NY Post- the paper that said the signing was immenent on Monday. Note the headline spelling of "Llya" Dolan whiffed on LeBron--but can make Llya ice 'King' http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/rangers/dolan_whiffed_on_lebron_but_can_tZSPKB3VDPV738R5bJ1RvK Kovalchuk is likely to make his decision within the next 48-to-72 hours. The window is open for the Rangers to sign a talent the likes of which they won't otherwise have the opportunity to add for years. Dolan made his play for LeBron. Now it's time for the Garden to turn its attention to Ilya. It's time for The Show to come to Broadway. Tell you one thing, I bet that if Kovalchuk goes prime time across Canada with the Decision, there's a darn good chance that Dolan's band, JD and The Straight Shot, could even play the intro for the program. Rock
This from Spector on the NY Post article: http://www.spectorshockey.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1543:latest-kovalchuk-and-modano-news-july-10-2010&catid=5:trade-rumors&Itemid=4 Larry Brooks suggests the Rangers owner James Dolan, who missed out on landing LeBron James for the NBA Knicks, should turn his focus instead on bringing Kovalchuk to the Blueshirts. Brooks believes the Rangers currently lack the talent to contend for anything, but admits GM Glen Sather has some serious salary cap issues to sort out if he were to pursue Kovalchuk. SPECTOR'S NOTE: Didn't we discover during the last CBA that the Rangers efforts to bring in top talent inevitably failed to make the team a playoff club? And isn't the Rangers more pressing need right now is a quality center for Marian Gaborik's line? If the Rangers actually pursue Kovalchuk by burying salary in the minors to free the cap space to sign him it would seriously handicap this team for years to come whilst doing nothing to address the Rangers actual roster needs (a top line center and a skilled puck-moving defenseman). I'm not knocking Kovalchuk here, merely pointing out he's not what the Rangers need.

Beck27
If 17 years is really on the table, I think the Devils have been nothing more than a bargaining chip. Lou is calling his bluff with that offer... If the team is going all out like this to sign him, it would be nice if he came back and said I'm just not interested, no matter what you offer me...because it's not getting any better than that.
