thegame346
Kovalchuk is the worst signing since Rolston. This has to be the stupidest statement ever. Guy has 5 points in 6 games (2 goals and 3 assists).
Chimaira_Devil_#9
It pisses me off that we sign a guy that is a top offensive talent and then don’t give him the tools to succeed. Its like buying someone a $100,000 car but not paying for any driving lessons and just letting them lose on the road. He needs to play at left wing, throwing all your tallented players on one line is just a waste. He seemed to like playing on a line with Josefson so leave him there, and then see which one of our completely mediocre right wings doesn't suck to hard. Parise/Zajac/Zubrus Kovlachuk/Josefson/???? Elias/Arnot/??? Mair/Pelly/Sestito I would love to think there was some form of magical trade out there where we could dump all out rubbish and get something in return, but what is out there? robdeselich88
All im saying, Joesf looks like a player, taormina plays hard & islanders beat anderson 5-2. This team still aint getting the lucky bounces.

I fully agree with you, Chimaira. And regarding a trade, give it two or three weeks, and then I bet there'll be a team or two willing to trade for some of our players once injuries are a factor and they realize players aren't going to live up to their training camp hype.By mid-November, I think there'll be a trade. Quinn01
I was at last nights game up in 225 and some dude who was alone was so wasted he lost his balance like on the 6th row and fell all the way down over the railing to the 1st row in the section missing a prego woman by a few inches and landed on a STH and his daughter I think. She wasnt to happy......When the usher came up the dude couldnt even stand up he was so wasted he had to hold on to the ushers shirt. It was funny though. And then our whole section chanted a$$hole as the usher was taking him out.

DevilinLA
I wouldn't have problem giving Zubrus the C. Seriously. I wouldn't mind giving Zubrus the boot. This guy is a career underachiever whose only highlight was serendipitously being paired with AO for a time, otherwise he's an extremely overpaid 3rd line player. He's this board's 2010-11 Andy Greene a guy who masquerades from time-to-time as a top player but in reality has never shown any consistency enough to be relied on as "the guy". Trade him while his perceived value is high. Edited October 17, 2010 by DevilinLA

She posts on here from time to time too.. At least he didn't get ketchup on one of her jerseys.. NJDevs4978
A) Zubrus's value is not high around the league, it's higher to the Devils than it would be to any other team, mainly because he's overpaid for his skill set. B) He's not an underachiever, he's a 40-45 point role player that got his point total propped up by Ovechkin for a couple years and people still think should be a 60-point player because of that and where he got drafted a dozen years ago. C) When you have a bunch of bad eggs, you don't get rid of one of the few guys with heart. Edited October 17, 2010 by NJDevs4978

You don't even want to know what happened when someone did that too her last season I was sitting in the row behind you because I moved down. At one point I was sitting next to you before the older woman kicked us back 1 row because those were her actual seats. I was wearing a Brodie jersey. That guy was a total douche. The reason I was so annoyed was I just spent $9 on a beer and it was all over me. They refilled it, but at that point I wasn't interested in it. I just can't take it anymore.
Quinn01
Yeah I was the one that said you should have kicked his ass and asked if you were alright. . I would have. I would have been really really angry. That dude shouldnt have been allowed up there to begin with. I saw him walk up before the game and he just didnt seem right. The usher seemed young too and kinda clueless. That would be me..I stunk like a liquor factory and I've had a headache and my neck/back are sore. That guy was a total douche. Yeah I can see that considering you had like 200 lbs land on you from a few rows up. Edited October 18, 2010 by Quinn01
