DevilMinder
I am glad for the win and all. But really Maddens break out and Brodeur was the only thing that kept this from a loss. The power play was aweful! Was it only Zyuzin holding up the PP in the pre-season or something? It looked on then!
GR
Hey DM, how come you posted outside the game thread? Only kidding. They all gave a full 60 minutes with Marty putting out a terrific effort, you're right Marty won this game. Stevens had a good night for him at his age. I wonder if he is upset that his selection for the "A" didn't get it? He and Elias will never get along, they will show unity however for the team. Yeah, I suck
I agree, I acctually cringed when NJ got a PP this game. lol
Blackjack
Yeah, Ottawa had some good chances but so did we. Elias had a wide open net, Friesen hit a post, and Lalime made some outstanding saves. Heck even Danton had a couple good chances. You're acting like Brodeur was the only goalie keeping his team in the game. <_
NJDevs4978
GR: Stevens had a good night for him at his age. I wonder if he is upset that his selection for the "A" didn't get it? Even when you compliment Stevens, it's always back-handed and followed by an insult. Exactly like Kyy with Brodeur, for that matter. You are correct when you say Stevens lobbied for Niewy, but I doubt it's because he has anything against Elias...it's more that he respects Niewy for all he's done in the game. Your problem is you never look at the glass half full or half empty, it's always almost completely empty.
