This game is HUGE because now with a win tomorrow night we can leap both Toronto and Atlanta!!! into 10th place! At this point we will probably have to root for a Carolina win in regulation over the Sabres, then if the Devils do their job tomorrow night we will be within 6 points of #8 with a game in hand at minimum... If you didn't know, he started a sort of inside joke at the beginning of the season that everyone boo Mattias Ritola (rookie center on Tampa Bay) whenever he touches the puck for no reason other than it would be funny because he's just a random player. Before the game DGB posted that because it was a must-win game for the Leafs, Ritola would probably score the GWG (Ritola had just 2 goals in 35 career games). Sure enough, Ritola had the first multi-goal game of his career, picking up two including the game winner in the rout. DGB was hearing it from all the Leaf fans on Twitter after the game, haha.
