DaneykoIsGod
just surprised ATL didn't start a whine fest with the no-goal. figured someone would have run their mouth after...maybe the Thrashers have more class than the Islanders This was the worst that I saw: Kane, who set up Stapleton's goal with a great no-look pass, felt the goal was good."I looked at it on the replay and the way I felt I made contact I felt it was in the accepted area," he said. "They made the call and it is what it is." Thrashers coach Craig Ramsay was disappointed in the call. "It was so close," he said. "You can't wave that off at this time of the year. When you look at it from some of those views, it was so damn close. I don't know you can be that emphatic about the call and now the league doesn't want to overrule you." Ramsay seems pretty pissed. Atlanta seems more advanced then the Island does when it comes to hockey in a professional sense. Plus the Island is full of wining wieners. MartysGlove
Your going to jinx it!!!! Keep your bitterness to yourself and enjoy the ride. The irony. Admit you're wrong already. You can make it like this streak is all because of you and take credit for it, but end of the day you're the one who didn't believe in them way before anyone else. Joe B
on stapletons goal from that slick pass from Kane, Samalea should have stuck with Stapleton correct? Someone else said he had to cover for teddy not backchecking and I just don't see it that way. thoughts? for the 20 seconds(and I think that may be generous) that the PP was set up, looked like a new wrinkle with Elias rotating back to the point while kovy snuck down low(I'm guessing they will rotate back in forth umbrella-like with Rolston going point to point). Was looking forward to see if that would freed up space for Kovy but atlanta did a hell of a job not letting them into the zone clean and not giving them any time to do anything. Not sure if that was designed for Atlanta or if it is the next step going forward. Just something that stuck out to me. I'm assuming it's Oates working the pp, along with the different face-off formations I am very happy that Oates is in the coaching staff mix and hope he stays in the 'family' like robinson has. ThreeCups
exactly Yea, tell me another one. I am sure that is why you refuse to change it. More like you are stubborn and cannot admit that you are 100% wrong
Tedenby21
OMG...I had the biggest losers sitting behind me last night. Well, one of them. All he could do is make fun of Brodeur...and whenever we scored, they all got up and left and would come back. Then the one guy was talking about how we stole the "You Suck" chant from the Rangers. And when we did the "Rangers Suck" chant, the same dude would go..."Well, they're winning the game they have right now by a pretty good margin..." I wanted to get up and slap him in the face. Sounds like you had a blast
ThreeCups
The only thing absurd is thinking we are already in the playoffs and that being .500 is a success. We are doing great right now, why change anything? Stop your whining and enjoy the ride. I never said we were already in the playoffs. Regardless of playoffs, your sig is asinine. But continue to play off of the "why change anything" mantra because you cannot admit your prediction was pure garbage I never said we were already in the playoffs. Quinn01
So realistically, if the Sabres loose Saturday against Atlanta, then Sunday against Nashville, Carolina looses Tonight against Toronto and we win Tomorrow, we will be in the 8th seed? How does this all break down? We need to win how many out of the last 13 games to go to really be in it?

How does this all break down? We need to win how many out of the last 13 games to go to really be in it? loose = not tight lose = to be defeated For some reason the loose/lose thing is starting to rank right up there with your/you're and its/it's and to/too/two. Anyway, I think they really have to win 10...anything under 90 points just feels shaky to me.
ThreeCups
Yes. Stand up comedy at it's finest..... We will DEFINITELY be in the playoffs next year, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT
MantaRay
We will DEFINITELY be in the playoffs next year, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT That's only remotely funny. But not as funny as your predictions about winning the Cup THIS YEAR!

Pepperkorn
Sorry, the NHL has a strict no marketing policy when it comes to the Devils. Well that I was my WAY OVERLY subtle joke .... I was thinking getting Kovalchuk, who is a crowd draw, may change all that. The battle for Kovalchuk, the failure with Kovalchuk -- I'm just saying if there is a directive for the Pens to win maybe someone decided a directive for the Devils to win is in the leagues best interest, Not win the Cup for goodness sake. but I was being sarcastic thinking that. and I didn't want to write it all out because it's complicated and not what I'd want to put on there ... and it's not amusing even when you dissect it like I sort of have here... so... it kind of all around wasn't funny... and I'm not sure why I even wrote more and didn't just let it die a nice dull death... anyhow - it can't be more annoying than droning mindlessly on about Manta's signature as if anyone even cares.
