  1. We have to get into Cam Ward's face like they do Marty. Ward has gotten it too easy and the only one who's been doing it right is Clarkson, parking in front on him. If they are going to pull this crap on us, we have to do the same. Screen him, get in his way, and occasionally fall on him.

  2. 25 goals max I think.

McKay was a stronger skater, faster. Clarkson has better puck control and more agile. Neither has a ton of offensive hockey sense to anticipate where to go or passing ability. At best he's a good utility wing that could fill in some 2nd line time as needed. If he develops a stronger/more accurate shot, he could be dangerous.

    I love Clarkson's work ethic, he's a keeper.

  3. Nothing comes over the team. Cya Neider, it was good knowing you and we thank you for your contribution. As long as Lou is around and Marty is around, I have faith in the team. Remember "interchangable parts"? I like to think of the Devils as the Borg.. but in a good way.

  4. IN PRECOCIOUS league-defining talent, Crosby is right there with LeBron James. But the difference between the cultures of their two sports is stark, testimony to why hockey can't ever seem to grab its fair share of the U.S. spotlight. Hoops prepared LeBron for greatness by giving him an early taste of star perks; hockey went out of its way to keep Crosby humble. LeBron got a brand new Hummer as a prep prodigy; Crosby depends on a Mazda of uncertain vintage owned by a teammate. LeBron's high school games were sometimes aired on national TV; Crosby's home games were shown on a community station in Rimouski, a fishing town on the St. Lawrence River. LeBron played across the U.S. in major arenas; Crosby is stuck in the QMJHL, or the Q, which has a team in the remote mining region of Val d'Or but not one in Montreal.

The sickest thing is the article makes it sound like it's actually *BAD* to stay humble and down-to-earth. This is the kind of rubbish that turns me off the NBA.

  5. Lets see first its was NJ that i backed.... they died in 5.....

Then I backed Ott and I think they went out on the next night....

Then there was SJ ....they are now done....

who should I shoot down next.....

Wierd... I backed the same teams in that order.

  6. But congrat for Arsenal !  :P

Someone who likes Arsenal must likes France

But of course! Monsieur Wenger is a genius... Thierry Henry is incredible and cannot be compared... Patrick Vieira is the best midfielder in England if not the world... Pires creates so much from the flank.. and Aliadiere and Clichy will be fixtures in the future! Shame about Cygan

Up the Gunners! Arsenal uber alles! Oh wait, thats German oops :rolling:

  7. Bentley Continental GT

    Oh What a car!

Oh yes it is! I only wish they based it on the Audi A8's ASF instead of VW's Phaeton normal steel frame. 5000 is alot of weight but I guess thats fine for a fine British GT car. Mmmmm its STILL a lovely car!

  8. s6's are amazing. I am a fan of the s4. But it is was pulling in 3 mil a year plus i would be in a ferrari medina, audi rs6, BMW m5 or m3, or even perhaps the porsche cayanne liek pando.

Very nice list. I have an A4 myself and have been thinking about picking up a used S4 sometime in the future (the old body style with the biturbo). My list would be something like:

Ferrari Enzo - the showoff car, GT car

    Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V.Spec - the race car

Audi RS6 Avant (not avail in US) - the "practical" car :)

  9. I remember this being posted sometime last year. But we found a translation from someone. Definately you can do a search and find it on this forum. I remember we were talking about different mentalities about sexuality in the US and Europe. ;)

  10. The lack of enthusiasm for the Sharks was because ESPN was rooting for a story, they wanted to see the Avs come back in 7, it would've been only the 3rd time in NHL history. Go back to 94, Wings-Sharks, ESPN was rooting for SJ heavily, it was the story.

The lack of enthusiasm for the Sharks is normal, we've seen similar, boring runs by Carolina, and Anaheim, and the Minnesota Wild. It's special when it happend once every 5-7 years, but not every year. What are we supposed to be excited by Nils Ekman and Jonathen Chachi?

If anyone sounds like the one-hit wonder, its the Flames.

SJ all the way. They're my second fave team after the Devs.

  11. 2000 for that series against Philly.  Plus it was probably the best Devil team in terms of skill and balance of defense/offense ever.

I think the year after they were better actually, its just too bad they fell one game short.

I think its a wash really. Besides a few spart part differences, the only major difference was O'Donnell vs. Malakhov. Now Malakhov may be more leaky but he scored a few goals if I remembered right. My memory is getting bad in my old age what can I say? :P

  12. We've had some bad experience trading for veteran stay-at-home D-men. Remember Sean O'Donnell?? Smelik? Doug Bodger? All these guys all ended up sucking arse.
