Hey!
It looks like I'll be taking the train down ALLLLL the way from Northern Bergen county LOL. I will be solo it seems as fellow friends/fans have work or other commitments
What time will you all be heading there for the $10 tickets??? How crazy is it usually for big games, is the line civil? Any words of guidance would be great! -

So I've never gone through the $10 ticket process and while I know this is last minute I was wondering, so far for pre-season games have they been selling out? My friend and I will be able to arrive most likely 2 hours early before game time....
We wanted to get in one preseason game because we are still not sure when we will be able to make a regular season game.

Some good and some bad after one period! Crowds are going back and forth but nothing crazy. I splurged and got two cookies for 4.50...ugh. Period two just started... Be back!

really nice to see a house full of red and black, there wasn't much orange lurking around the rink today After last season i had kinda forgotten how much i LOATHED the flyers but this game totally renewed the vitriol.
Great game tonight! This is the first game of the season I have been to that the team WON, it felt AWESOME!
By the way, I think I saw you tonight if you are the person in your icon (why wouldn't you be haha)... I think it was somewhere on the concourse before the game.

ughhhhh....horrible game! Its so quiet we can hear the players perfectly on the ice and we are in the second to last row. Its such a dissapointment since i havent seen the devils win a game since last season

We just sat down for Game 2 for us against Pittsburg. Tonight we did a full walkthrough of the arena, everything looks great. Hung out with the Nj Devil, took a free picture at the verizon booth, met doc while he was walking around, and even saw the proud owner of the devils walking around! Crowds are starting to fill n now......hope they win! Excuse my typing, its still tricky typing on the iPod touch.

Getting in was easy and fun because the whole train was filled with devils fans. I saw a few people from the board but was too shy to say anything.

hey!!! I'm at the game in section 215 row 5 .... Warmups just ended!!! My iPod touch is about to die but I will do my best to update. Arena is great.... Very bright and open. Upper level seats feel so close due to steepness.

Does anybody know if the box office is inside or if I'll be waiting outside in the rain? I haven't been up to that area of Newark yet to check everything out.
Originally I was going to head there around noon, but I was able to snatch up $25 tickets the other night. I think that if it does rain, that will make it even more likely you can get a pair if you head there late afternoon. Good luck if you end up going, hope you get tickets!

Just got my tickets in the mail.
Driving up from Maryland late Saturday afternoon. I'll be in Section 215, row 3 in an old red & green classic sweater. Only 3 days short of the 20th anniversary of my first NHL game (Edmonton @ New Jersey on Halloween Night 1987).
Just got tickets tonight!! Section 215, Row 5!!

I am so freaking excited right now! I was able to get two $20 tickets ....Section 215 Row 5!!! This is such a relief, no waiting all day at the arena on Saturday! Thanks for making the update to the post, I just got home from Best Buy and when I saw the title.....man I couldn't have logged into ticketmaster any faster LOL.

Play it safe.. then go early sat anyhow.. if ya get 10 dollar tickets call some friends who wanna spend 220 on the others.. or even a little less since you got cheap ones... or sell them outside arena

The biggest problem for using rail from Bergen is the cost. $15.75 rt from the Ramsey station (has the most free parking) and over an hour trip. The trip time doens't bother me as much as the cost. I have a large family and even if only half of us go to a game it's still about $45.00 just to get to the arena. So as much as I wanted to train it in, we have to drive. Can't wait to see how much the lots charge.

Yeah they have them for 100. Others have them for 115 around. I got mine for 110 but i got mine customized too so it cost an extra 90 ontop of that.
I wonder if I bring the jersey to the NHL store, will they customize it?

I stopped by Modell's tonight since I was not able to snatch up a size small home jersey at the NHL Store in the city. To my surprise, they had the hockey jerseys at $99! Ironically though, I found my size small BEHIND a bunch of RANGERS (messed up!) uniforms!
So for all of you who have yet to snatch up the new design, head on over!

I love how the train schedule has it so the best time is right before my classes end and the next train isn't until a time that would be too late to get there at a good time! UGH.
