Avery is a goner. He cried to the press when the Rangers were mean to him in arbitration, then got given way less than he wanted. You guys are gonna have to throw buckets of cash at Queenie Henrietta for him to stay. Plus, you have a couple of overpriced forwards to pay for. I also expect the Rags to throw some cash at Marian Hossa in the offseason to come play with his bro. So, unless you expect Avery to take a pay cut (which he won't), he's a goner.
Now, I have to go set my clock to the inevitable Ranger slump that happens every year in roughly January-February.

Come on everyone, the all-star game hasn't happened yet, this is always the time when Ranger fans can enjoy their team. Sadly it then changes when the games become more important.
Yea it does change, cause if I'm not mistaken we were one of the hottest teams in the league after the all-star break last year. And Hank was the top goalie during that time.

No the trap still sucks, except we don't play a trap. And fine lets talk about the past, specifically 1994 when beating a rival in a playoff series led to a Stanley Cup not bragging rights on who didn't win the cup that year. Oh, sick burn!!!

This is great news for the Ranger fans. Now they can all meet at the Canyon of Heroes and watch the Rangers play hide the salami with each other.
Because you seem to be a fan of my favorite band I won't be angry with what you said and simply point out that it seems only when people have absolutely nothing legitimate to say do they have to resort to chiildish insults along the lines of "oh your team is g@y." I went on a Ranger forum, and you know what? A ranger poster posted the Marty article, in which he said that Lundqvist,Luongo and..(I can't remember the other stud) belongs in the top 3 Goalies.
Those fans still called Marty bum, and a diver.
Should I go ahead and make them look like their whole Fanbase is just as homer as those Rangers posters replied about Marty? No.

i love how stevens lead this team. that he really cared about winning (ask friesen after that ot loss at detroit back in 02-03) and not personal ego or stats

Am I the only one who sees the bad side of the Ranger losing with Avery out of the lineup? Once he gets back all the Rags fans are going to talk about what a good player he is and how when he's in the lineup they win.

Beezer's right, your team has been the envy of the Atlantic the last few weeks. The fact that your win streak came during our downturn makes it all the more frustrating. I'm much happier about a Rangers win than a Devils loss. In all honesty I'd love to see the two meet in the playoffs. It should make for a good series.
Satans Hockey: I'd still post every once in a while, just less hostile.
skeeter: I've been playing hockey for over a decade (until recently due to surgery) so I'd say I'm familiar with what a trap is thanks. I know exactly what Matteau did. Also, I don't play WOW nor do I tell my friends about this. It's more for my own interest/amusement. What else would I be doing at 2:30 in the morning. Combinations of insomnia and study breaks force me to find something to do.
