    :rant: dagnabitall... I think about it... and I re-read my reasoning... awe f*ck i think I wan tthe Canes to win... <_< and it irks me... to NO end... but i hate the Oilers... I really do. But I don't want them to go away...

    I just have ZERO emotional investment in the Oilers - they're out West, I'm not into anyone on the team. I HATE Pecker with his pearly whites :yucky: that's the depth of my emotion for this current team. And I so did NOT like the Oilers of the 80s.... I personally foudn them annoying and alienating. Like I said I want the franchise to survive but I really don't like them - i have no jovial friendly rivalry... I am at best apathetic... I want to go with popular opinion but I'm not feelin' the love :saddevil: Sorry guys :(

    and I'm really enjoying my uncomfortable attraction to a pig like recchi :giggle: See I'd want to slam my head against a wall if the canes won... and I sort of like that feeling :blush:

    this is the only way the NHL learns, when one of its stupid rules causes a huge travesty in the playoffs. Shame Buffalo was burnt twice by this. You can bet this delay rule will be gone next year.

    if not for all the injuries Buffalo has, there would be no doubt in my mind that they would win... still they are doing a great job...

    What a bummer. Imagine this:

    Its 6:30 the office and everyone is gone. I sneak in the office meeting room to turn on cable to watch the game on a 10 foot screen and turn up the surround sound, sit on the nice comfy leather couch with dinner... Then I find out the office doesn't get OLN.

    I don't get to watch the game.

    I had a problem watching the first period, but it is fine now... freaking thunderstorm, I almost fell off my couch at one point :evilcry:

    All this is funny to me. I live in NC, you know, so the only games I get to watch are Panes games. JUst yesterday my brother was bragging about the Canes fans making a name for themselves in the NHL. He said they were the loudest house in the NHL, they tailgate before games, they have cheerleaders.... :blahblah::blahblah::blahblah: He said when the Panes played Montreal and there were a few fans there they were telling the media that the place was awesome in comparison to home. :blahblah:

    I told him that I hated to burst his bubble, but the only name they were making for themselves was redneck and ignorant.

    Man I can't wait til next year...my husband promised me a trip to NJ to go to a Devils game at CAA.

    I think Edmonton has awesome fans, the place was rocking during game 4 ;)
