Lets face it Shattenkirk did not want to come here

I have no problem with what Shero did. I know that in 3 years Shattenkirk will not be worth it and every fan would want his head.

Here's a list of RFA that we could offer sheet: Ryan Johansen, Leon Draisatl, David Pastrnak, Victor Arvidsson, Mikael Granlund, Evgeni Kuznetsov, Ondrej Palat, Alex Galchenyuk, Tyler Johnson, Nino Neiderreiter, Mika Zibanajad, Alex Wennberg, Colton Parayko, Dmitry Orlov, Calvin De Haan, Andre Burakovksy, Justin Schultz, JG Pageau.

I do like the idea of going after Justin Schultz. He had very good numbers last year and would be a decent alternative for the Shat loss. Colton Parayko is another possibility.

    Not happening

im happy with Shero so far...

    Boyle is a good signing.

He try to land Shattenkirk, but the guy only want to be a Rangers... Nothing shero can do about.

Now I am wondering who he is targeting and what is up with Kovalchuk...

Your general thought on cody Franson... Should we try to land him?

I mean if they can't land a trade then they should look at Franson (he's nothing special).

I'm not bailing on them, but it's not worth my time and money to watch them lose 45 plus games next year.

Let's see how the next couple days pan out. A trade can still happen

Admittedly based on not-very reliable Russian and Eastern European twitter accounts, it appears that all SKA is really doing to induce him to stay in the KHL is a dump truck full of money, one report saying as much as $10 million a year.  From a Devils' fan standpoint I think this is probably encouraging news, however it plays out.  If the KHL has to offer him that much money, it would appear that there is plenty of interest from NHL teams, which means we could be looking at a pretty good return in a trade if he ends up returning.  If he takes the KHL deal, it'll likely be for several years which means it'll be the last we all hear of him hopefully.

Until next year, he will retire from that contract and come back to the NHL lol.
