  1. Not sure, contact the Devils...  I'm sure they had to return unused allotment to the Flyers at some point.  If you want to buy through the Flyers, they are $111.  Section 106, purchase tickets in furthest row from the ice if you want to sit near Devils fans -- shows 2 available in Row 26, 3 available in Row 25 on Flyers website:

  2. The Devils were planning a bus trip for season ticket holders, but cancelled it due to lack of interest..  Its too bad, would've been nice to have 50 Devils fans sitting together in Philly.  Some people, including myself and some friends, still bought tickets through the Devils -- Section 106 -- for $90.

Driving down tomorrow afternoon...  stopping for a cheesesteak and a couple beers in the parking lot before the game.

  3. Its too bad management can't bribe us, as a fan base, to come up with something else to chant instead of "you suck" so we can get back our Rock and Roll Part II.  As much as I would love to have it back AND also chant "you suck", it would be better to have it back and not chant "you suck" over whatever song it gets changed to next.  The atmosphere at the arena hasn't been the same without it this year.

Management should give us a chance to vote on new chant for RR Part II...  and if it doesn't work...  oh well, they can't say they didn't give us the chance.   I know the Red Bulls offered money for fans to stop offensive chants...  not sure if it worked, though.

  4. Maybe the Devils should ban season ticket holders that give away their tickets to friends if they can't go to the game...  after all, the box office can't compete with free tickets.

Absolutely insane that they'd revoke season tickets from someone, even if they sell every single game.  And you know the Devils (and a lot of other teams) are using the secondary market to sell tickets, as well.

  5. For season ticket holders:

Anyone else have a $15 overdue fee in their 2013-14 Season Ticket account right now?  I was on the 12-month plan, and paid my last installment on March 1...  so curious where this fee is coming from.  Playoff handling fee?

  6. Anyone make a profit on Devils tickets this season??  If so, where section are your tickets in?!?

The Devils should be happy that fans are buying EVERY SINGLE GAME, even the lousy mid-week games that aren't worth $15.

And people aren't stupid -- you can buy 2 tickets to 44 games for under $2000 for the pair -- or the same seats to 7 games for $700.  It just doesn't make sense to buy a partial plan.

  7. So funny to me that I got accused of being a ticket broker by the Devils and they refused to sell me an extra pair of tickets for my family to this game. Now I can buy them tickets for way under face. What goes around comes around and the Devils front office sucks.

There's no way to make money on the tickets, at this point lol.  The tickets are going for less than face value, so you might as well purchase from a reseller!

  8. NJT into Penn, then walking over to the D train. Can't imagine voluntarily driving into what is assuredly going to be traffic hell. Sent via mobile

You will encounter less traffic driving to Yankee Stadium on a Sunday morning than any other day.  I'll give you a tip, though.  Avoid the Major Deegan like you avoid Route 21 for Devils games...  but again, you really shouldn't encounter much traffic on a Sunday morning.  And its best to park in a lot that has easy access back to NJ -- and not far from the exit of a parking garage that has one exit.

My advice for the Wednesday night Rangers vs Islanders game would be a lot different.

  9. Forget about the bars across the street from the stadium...  they can't serve alcohol until 12:00 pm on Sundays...  also, Yankee Stadium will not serve alcohol until 12:00 pm on Sundays...  so plan accordingly.

And if you're drinking in the parking lot at Yankee Stadium, the police make their rounds AND will say something to you.  No tailgating allowed, so make sure you hide it well if you're drinking, as they will sneak up on you.  Same goes for subway, you cannot drink on them like you can drink on the NJ Transit trains.  I found that out the hard way with an open alcohol summons.

Parking next to the stadium is $35 -- but there's $20 lots/garages a couple blocks away (maybe even cheaper).  I think if you're going with a group (3 or more), driving makes sense, especially if you are 30+ minutes from a Path station (or Secaucus Junction).  If there's 2 of you, Path to Subway is probably the way to go.

  10. What is everyone's plan for the Stadium Series next Sunday?  How you getting there?  What you doing before the game?

Honestly, I think driving is the most convenient/cheapest way to go for a group of 4, but seeing if someone had a better idea.

  11. From my Devils Fan Experience Rep:  Devils have visitors dugout -- 3rd base side of the field for you non-baseball fans.  The Devils will attack the 1st base side of the field twice.  Rangers will have the Yankees dugout for both Stadium Series games.

Supposedly, both goal horns/songs will be used for goals...  no word on Kevin Clark as PA announcer.  Anyone else have other information?

  12. i wasnt trying to talk down on school teachers sorry if i offended anyone.. i just wasnt sure why they would give out free tickets to school teachers

it was so the building wasn't empty.  there were A LOT of tickets available early in the week still.  i don't like day games, but the devils probably shouldn't try to compete with the NFL playoffs.  could've played at 3:00 (or earlier).

i have season tickets in 121, so sitting 8 rows from the ice was a nice change...  although only about 1/3 of the fans stand for goals down there.  probably a lot of the people sitting around me had free seats, as well.

  13. 2 tickets to all teachers who brought school i.d. ... what the hell is that about ..rewarding school teachers for what? lol what about rewarding military or law enforcement .. people who deserve to get something back

the devils were just trying to fill seats that were mostly going to go unsold...  and yes, military deserves free tickets, as the devils give out 100's of these every game...  but how can you say "rewarding school teachers for what?"

  14. Devils gave two tickets to all teachers who brought school ID tonight.  I had two free seats in Section 15, Row 8.  Well worth the price of admission tonight!!  I wonder how many tickets were given away tonight.

  15. That's fine with me too.

For all the whining and crying the Devils got from fans for that contest they are running where if you win you get a chance at spending money on face-value SS tickets, the Devils fans are now whining and crying that they can't spend more money on merchandise for a 1-time game.  I see in particular one poster on HFBoards crying almost daily that he can't spend his money on a new jersey and it is just childish at this point.

Lou would play without names on the back of jerseys, as well.
