CHIP72
My apologies if either or both of these articles have already been posted, but there were a couple of interesting articles on the Devils website today. One of those articles featured a retrospective (including a video) from the "334 Club" game that occurred 27 years ago today (1/22/87) when north Jersey was hit by an even bigger snowstorm than the one that hit on Tuesday and the Devils had a much smaller crowd than even Tuesday's game against St. Louis had. Historic Storm Produced "334 Club" in '87" The other article featured an alumni event involving former Devils, Rangers, and Islanders players held on Tuesday promoting the two Stadium Series games. The players walked down 6th Avenue from the NHL Store to an ice rink in Bryant Park and played with a youth team from north Jersey. They also played with Rangers/hockey fan Boomer Esiason, and Ken Daneyko made sure he roughed up Boomer.
