Check today's game thread - I put a quiet but poignet post on page 3. [Edit - page 2] This Ranger team was awful. I cannot believe that they almost had the division title. More gloating: Elias: 11 points Betts: only Ranger with 2 points 15 in a row! Sweep!

Man, what a game!! 15 in a row!! The 3rd and 4th goals were things of beauty!!! It was good to hear some Devil fans in the building today. I guess some Lameger fans sold their tickets for today - there weren't that many Devil fans there in game 3. Unfortunately, I wasn't there, but on TV I think I even heard Beauman trying to get his chant going when it was 4-1. It turned into a NY chant of "A$$hole" - but I was laughing my ass off!

This has to be said - as a baseball hater... Why are there so many references to some team called the Yankees or something... I've read it on here, on the Lameger's forum, heard it about three times on TV tonight. WHO CARES? You know for damn sure that no baseball announcers even know anything about hockey - let alone reference something related to hockey.

It IS time to gloat - but not about this series yet. It's time to gloat that: The Devils have won 14 in row The Rangers have lost 7 in a row The Devils have outscored them - 13-2 Jagr and Renny look like fools The stupid Ranger fans have been quieted three times in a row - you could've heard a pin drop tonight. Brodeur has gotten a few more milestones - and about to get some more Somebody besides Gionta is scoring The Devils have played three different types of games to start this series - and looked good for most of it SHUTOUT! Hopefully there will be a lot more to gloat about Saturday!!

Kenny D just mentioned in the post game wrapup that he MIGHT be in episode 11 of the Sopranos - sitting in a bar next to Tony. He made it sound like if it doesn't get cut out, it will only be a "blink and you miss it" moment...

I'm remember a month or two ago, Doc mentioned that the Devils tied the record for having the most American born players in one NHL game. He mentioned that if Clemmenson was in net, they would've broken the record.

What's weird is just last week - Thursday, I think - I ordered what I thought was OLN on Dish... It was some cheesy Outdoor Channel. When I called to cancel, I specifically asked if OLN was coming back to Dish any time soon, and they guy said no way. Duh. Anyway, I just upgraded my package to include 151, and will probably delete it after the playoffs.
