  1. Please stop posting 13 threads a day. We don't like you, now.

Oh no now our lives are ruined because someone is posting more then one thread a day! God forbid you just ignore the topics that he posts, that might be too difficult though.

  2. Lemaire has pretty much said that he'll try Elias at center, and with Lemaire coming in it's a given that Rolston will be given more responsibilities. He'll play on the 2nd line and it will be with Elias. That leaves the RW job up for grabs and it will probably belong to Bergfors.

My problem with this is that Elias is coming off of a great season so to me it doesn't make much sense at all to have switch his position to center where he'll have to change his game and the way he plays.

I wouldn't mind seeing us pick up Moore for a season and sticking him on the third line where he should be able to put up descent numbers between Rolston and Clarkson.

  3. Here's how I see it:

    Forwards:

    Parise(A)-Zajac-Langenbrunner©

    Elias(A)-Zubrus-Bergfors

    Rolston-X-Clarkson

    Pando-Pelley-Shanny

    Extras: Leblone, Pikachu

I think Lou will pick up a center who is can play third line minutes between Rolston and Clarkson.

    Defense:

    Oduya-Martin

    White-Corrente

    Salvador-Mottau/Murphy

    Extra: Greene

  4. Once I pay off some things I'm going to get a Jersey and have Oduya put on the back, anyone know where I can buy a CCM jersey? I hate the way the Edge jerseys look.

  5. With all due respect, it's about fvcking time. Really...I've been seeing more and more of the Christmas classics in recent years (even more with the fake M&Ns around). But it's a huge step forward...it's nice to see the Devils getting more and more creative with finding ways to get fans in the building. Who knows...at this rate maybe they'll even do a Rockies or Scouts night...nothing wrong with having a few throwback nights a season. I'm hoping they go all out with this...playing music from 1982 during stoppages would be a great start, as would be showing as many highlights as they can over the red & green era ('82-83 to '91-'92).

    Top 100 hits of 1982

Not a bad playlist as long as it's for one night; Eye of the Tiger, 867-5309, Abracadabra! There are going to be a lot of drunk people singing along if they play these songs.

  6. Doubt they would give him up. He is so underrated. One of my favorite players on the sharks, he works so hard every shift.

I think alot more people would be talking about him now if it wasn't for him being out all last season.

Yeah he's a great team player, stick him on a line with Clarkson, that'd be so much fun to watch.

  7. i don't see why there's this huge groundswell about the 2nd line center, it is and will almost certainly be dainius zubrus. the devils may have been interested in saku koivu, but other than that, there hasn't been much out there. the 3rd line center is the issue at hand.

Exactly right, Zubrus will play 2nd line center and he will do an alright job. The question is who will play third line? Hopefully not Rod Pelley, he's a 4th line center at best. Patrice Cormier I don't think is ready yet to play in the NHL. This is why I wish Vrana wasn't treated like sh!t and forced to leave, he would have been perfect.

  8. The whole idea of getting rid of Marleau is to try and drop some cap space for the sharks so we'd have to give up someone who can potentially put in goals and doesn't take up any space, the only person I can think of on the Devils who can do that is Bergfors. Giving up Elias or Rolston would put the Sharks back where they began although it would give them a more natural left wing.

A player I'm more interested in on the Sharks is Torey Mitchell, he is an unsigned RFA so getting him might somewhat cheap, pick and a prospect maybe?

He could play third line center

  9. It's probably just something that was tweaked, they kept him off the ice so he doesn't make it worse. Imagine how bad it would look if a player actually did get hurt at an Olympic camp after all that controversy.

  10. The right allegiance

Zach Parise was born and bred in Minnesota, but his dad, former NHLer J.P. Parise, was a Canadian, skating in the famous 1972 Summit Series.

Junior says there's no confusion about allegiances going into Vancouver.

"Just for the record, he's definitely pro-USA now," Parise said with a laugh.

    U-S-A! U-S-A!
