If you go to the gallery page where the image is, on the right side you should see a box with the image information. Below that you'll see "Share Image" with a plus sign next to it. Click on either the image or the words and a menu will open up with a bunch of options. Copy the text in the "Image Link" box. Now go into the signature editor (My Settings > Profile > Change Signature) and paste that text into an tag (or click the "Insert Image" button and paste the text into the box that pops up).
Appreciate the help!

I tried searching the forum first for this answer but nothing came up. Can anyone help with using an image I uploaded to the gallery as my signature? Thanks for your time.

Let's put a couple in the net early tonight and take the pressure off of the young skaters shifts.

How much does the chorus of boos on Monday after the Pittsburgh loss weigh into MacLean's decision to go with Marty Friday night? Obviously Marty gives us a better chance to win on any given night. There is something to building momentum amongst the fan base. Especially in your own building. Even more so with 2 losses in 2 tries at home so far.

Must have broke it on Cody McCormicks face.

Devils defenseman Mark Fraser has a fracture hand. He had surgery this morning to insert a pin and will miss four to six weeks. @TGFireandIce

AHL is a minor league much like baseball has minor leagues. We have an affiliate in the AHL where our draft picks play, players recovering from injusries might get some minutes, where we can hide cap space, waive players, etc. The players being called up were all on the Devils roster at one point in time during the preseason and some were even on the roster last season. Some on this board are high on guys like Tedenby and Josefson, others are high on guys like Zharkov, many like them all. We're calling up some of these guys because Rolston is out therefore we can exceed the cap by the amount of Rolston's annual salary(5M). This fills out our roster and gives some of our young new talent a shot with the big club.
Thanks. I did some salary cap research just before the season started since it was the only news coming out of Devils camp it seemed. So I think for a beginner I have a pretty good grasp on the cap so far (LTIR, Minimum Dressed Requirements, and bad contracts haha) I had some familiarity with minor league before (still learning the one-way, two-way contracts and such)
Welcome! Here's the basic rundown:
Josefson: highly regarded, much-needed center, and everyone from the organization out has pretty high hopes for him. He is only 19 and he has played for the Swedish Elite League (SEL) at age 18 (one of the best leagues in the world outside of the NHL). He had a so-so training camp, but a lot of people think he can bring a lot to the team. Tedenby is another young SEL player who is highly regarded, and so far he is still in the AHL.
Corrente / Sestito: these guys have been in the loop longer and are a little older. Corrente is a decent, but not great defenseman, although there is still hope he can develop further. Sestito had a great year last year in the AHL, but is still unproven. So far, both Corrente and Sestito haven't impressed in the 10+ NHL games they have played over the last few years.
Which of these guys do YOU see as someone who can step in immediately and get decent ice time and make a difference (if any)?

So being as this is only my 2nd week of being a Devils fan (previously did not follow much NHL but love the sport and was converted by my roomate). Can someone give me a little insight into these AHL call ups? Sorry for the lack of knowledge. But I'm trying to go all-in with this team. Thanks for your time.

Thanks guys (and girls?). It was nice to see a win last night. I've already starting saying "we" and "us" haha. I lived down in queens for a good portion so I consider Poughkeepsie upstate. Anyway, I'll be sure to ask questions. Let's go Devils.

LGD! I would love to get my first win as a Devil fan tonight. My first 28 years of life I existed without an NHL allegiance. Now here I am posting on a Devil forum. Who would have thought?

What's up Devil fans? Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Aaron, 29, from upstate New York (Poughkeepsie area). Never really followed the NHL before this season. My roomate Jay's enthusiasm for this team led me to become a fan. I hope to get to a game sometime in the next couple weeks or so. So here I am...possibly the newest Devil fan on the planet.

I have yet to see a professional hockey game in my life. I know, I know, crazy right? Where ARE the best seats to get the full experience? I plan on getting to The Rock a few times this season. Also, any suggestions (besides a Ranger game) as far as a good first game to go see?
