The Devils Media Guide lists the record for most goals in a season by a rookie as: 21 - Kevin Todd (1991-1992) 21 - Jeff Larmer (1982-1983) 20 - Pat Verbeek (1983-1984) Franchise Record 30 - Paul Gardner (1976-1977) I can't believe I forgot about Larmer, but at least I got Todd correct. As for Semak, he was born in 1966, meaning he was probably too old to be classified as a rookie in 1993 (the "Makarov rule").

I has guessed Thomas too. Has he ever made the all-star game? I remember him being "a player who had a lot of career points w/o playing in the ASG" at one point, but I could not remember if he may have finally made it in the last 5 years, possibly as a Leaf. I kinda doubt it but it was my wild guess.

when I get home tonight I will take a look at it. I wanna say 95-96 or 96-97. It's definitely Elias wearing #20. Elias never wore #20 in an NHL game. He wore #22 and #24 before finally getting his famous #26. The #20 picture must be from a pre-season game, or perhaps another number that looks like a 0 thanks to the angle or folds in the jersey.

Can you please clarify this question. If it's a players nickname I don't see how that could possibly be kept track of.
