    EZ...

4, right? 4 is exactly 4 away from ZERO. Simple math, right? So, what is with this "EVERY HIT is clean" assumption?

Hahahaha. You people crack me up. You stick up for Stevens and say that he was only a "witness" to a rape. A witness, what the hell is that?! So, if I were a witness to a terrorist organization panning to do something terrible to America, I'd be ok, right? I was JUST a witness after all. I'm not trying to compare a rape to a terrorist attack, but I'm doing it to show the sheer ridiculousness of your defense of Stevens. Witness or not, he was there. He could have done something to stop it, hence he is just as guilty as the actual rapist. So, please, stop trying to make him out to be a saint. That would be poetic justice. Maybe you've heard of Karma? This is a perfect example. Now, keep in mind I didn't say I WANTED it to happen, so please, no accusations. HAHAHAHAHA. I can't believe anyone would say something like this. First of all, I'm not going to defend the Lindros hit. I will be the first to admit, he shouldn't have had his head down. End of story. Stevens delivered a clean, but vicious, hit. The thing that kind of irks me about it was his phony PR move after the game, basically apologizing and saying he didn't want to end anyone's career. Lindros was still a huge name in the NHL at the time, and was a very popular player. Stevens had to do a little damage control, or people would have been calling for his head, ironically. Second of all, the hit on Kariya last year was one of the dirties hits I have ever seen. The reason? The refs didn't make the PROPER elbow call. I have seen the replay multiple times, and every time you see Stevens' elbow in Kariya's face. That's one. And you are going to try and tell me that Ronald Scott Stevens NEVER went into the penalty box for elbowing, interference from a hit, etc.? Please. We have our own tough guy (Brashear), and do you think he garnishes any respect in Philly? Certainly not. So, if we had Stevens, why would this be any different? We want our tough guys to FIGHT, and Brashear and Stevens don't do this nearly as often as we'd like. So, please, enough with the blind allegations of jealousy. If anything, we'd be jealous that you have Niedermayer, someone that rarely gets mentioned by Philly fans.
