  1. I've been thinking about this lately.

I for one like to see this happen. I think his time here is done. Look at him, he looks like a little boy after someone just ran over his Dog or something. :(

Don't get me wrong, I like him, but he was my least favorite out of the 3 A-Line players.

I just don't see him staying here if he's not producing the offense we need. He's supposed to be our offensive hero. Granted it's not all his fault, but I'd have to say it's resting mostly on his shoulders.

Now the quesiton is who could come into our system, pick up that weight, and be able to produce the goals we need. Hopefully Lou will make the right choice if the time does come.

  2. Well Pando is back on Tuesday

    Lang-Madden-Pandolfo

    Berglund-Gomez-Elias <--they worked well

    Gionta/Brylin-New-Friesen

    Stevenson-Danton-McKeznie

    I say

    Berglund-Gomer-Elias

    Gionta-Newy-Friesen

    Lang-Madden-Brylin

    Pando-Danton-Stevenson

And we could use Mckenzie to "Tonya Harding" the other teams star player at the start of the first intermission.

Whatever happened to the Elias at center experiment? Shot down before it got a chance?

  3. Hmmm, will we be saying good-bye to Gionta?

I say we should keep Gionta, (he gets the crap kicked out of him almost every game and keeps going full steam) and rotate sitting either Mckenzie  , Stevenson or dare I say Danton and put Pando back on that line.

Then we should put Berglund on whatever line Elias is going to be on.

Elias has been taking alot of shots from the outside, if Berglund is going to be camping in front of the net like he was tonight, either he'll tip em in or Elias will score more. Plus he'll help out the D with their shots.

  4. I have to agree with you there.

It's time to let Corey start. That wasn't the Marty I know in net tonight.

That first period was just awful for everyone.

I'm glad Berglund capitalized on his time up though. Sacrificing himself in front of the net was something I haven't noticed the any other Devil do yet this year.

Now if we could just add another roster spot we'd be all set. :uni:

"7. Murray's in a hurry. After years of the Mighty Ducks saying they were rebuilding, new GM Bryan Murray gave his team a bit of a goose by signing free-agent center Adam Oates and trading for defenseman Petr Sykora. The Ducks won't make the playoffs, but their exciting style in the new NHL should be worth a gander by fans in Anaheim, if there are any left. "

    Defenseman?

This article just lost all it's credibility.
