(AP file) RelatedThursday game preview Hasek player page Sportsnet.ca News Sportsnet.ca -- If the Toronto Maple Leafs continue to walk the playoff tightrope until Saturday night, Dominik Hasek might be able to provide the blue and white with one last boost. Ottawa head coach Bryan Murray does not believe Dominik Hasek will be ready to play Saturday night when the Senators visit the Maple Leafs. Hasek met briefly with the media on Thursday and said he is focusing on returning on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. Hasek all but ruled out playing on Saturday in Toronto. The 41-year-old netminder told the media that he has made significant progress in the past two weeks and he simply needed a more relaxed day on Thursday morning. Hasek only lasted 10 minutes on the practice ice Thursday morning, and did not face any shots from teammates during that span. The lack of work means Hasek is unlikely to be between the pipes in just 48 hours. Furthermore, it leaves the Senators season finale on Tuesday at New York as the only regular season game Hasek could play before the playoffs begin next Friday. Murray also said that forward Martin Havlat will have to wait for clearance on Saturday morning before he returns to the lineup. Havlat will undergo a series of strength test in Toronto, and if he passes the tests, will return to the lineup for the first time since suffering a dislocated right shoulder in late November. Ray Emery will make the start in goal Thursday for the Senators against the Panthers. Emery is trying to snap a personal four-game losing streak.
