After two big victories over the conference-leading Boston Bruins and San Jose Sharks last weekend, capping a four-game winning streak at home, the Devils were ripe for a letdown. "Possibly. Probably," coach Brent Sutter said. "I thought with our mental mind-set and sharpness we weren't like we have been. Our intensity level wasn't where it needed to be. Maybe it was a letdown." No maybes about it. The Devils saw their seven-game road winning streak come to an end Tuesday night as the Florida Panthers continued their fight for a playoff spot with a 4-0 shutout victory at the BankAtlantic Center.
