Devil Fan in Florida

Hello all. Im new to the forums, just found it wandering around the net a couple weeks ago. I since have checked it daily and enjoy reading most of the threads. Grew up a huge devil fan as a boy in Kearny, NJ. Moved away at just 12 yrs old and never let the devils go or the mets for that matter. I still have all sorts of family in NJ and go back a couple weeks out of every year. I actually live in Jacksonville, which isnt the worst place to live cause I can potentially see the Devils play in Tampa,Sunrise, or Atlanta without too much of a drive.

I have not been to a home devils game since they played at continental arena. And I am fortunate enough to get hooked up with some goal club terrace table seats for Martys Potential record breaking st pattys night. I have never been to the Rock, so I wanted to ask for a bit of help. I will be on vacation with my family in NYC. I understand that the easiest way to get there is PATH train, if I am wrong correct me please. Where my question comes in is, can I take the PATH from 33rd street on the yellow line and change to red at journal square?? Or would I have to take the Redline right out of WTC straight shot into penn station? THe map I have doesnt convince me you are able to change trains at Journal Square. Other than that I am to meet some folks at brick something or something brick restuarant which is across the way from The Rock. If someone can help me out with the name of that, that would be very much appreciated. Again thanks for the site, it seems wicked awesome. LGD!

Hey! Welcome. Ok, first of all, the colors don't really matter on the Path tracks. Your best bet is to take the train straight from WTC. There's not switching, no getting off, just a straight ride over. Plus given this is still a weekday, the train around the time of 430-630 is going to be crazy. It's just easier. At least it was to me when I was coming from WTC to go to games. :)

Oh and it's Brick City Bar and Grill.

Thanks for the help, worked like a charm. Took the path straight from WTC station to Penn station, walked 2 blocks to stadium. River city bar grill was quite a cool place. At first it was real hard to get a drink there, until I discovered there is a smaller bar in the back. Some cute girl was by herself working her @ss off but I tipped her well. No shot for any food, the place packs out early I guess. The goal club seats were excellent, although I think I like sitting center ice better. It was the perfect first ROCK game to go to between Brodeur and Elias. Got loads of pictures!
