NJ Devils finally looks up from the toilet that he's been hunched over for the past half-hour, as he flushes the remainder of that evening's stomach contents to underground oblivion. As the revolting mass of bile and booze whirlpools its way to the bottom of the bowl, NJ Devils meets the NHL's questioning gaze through watery half-lidded eyes, wipes vomit from his lips, and utters "Huh?"

Great job lol. In the next few lines you didn't write I envision Dev somehow talking the wild card chick into taking a chance with him. So they go home and she's spending 4 minutes (i.e. 4 games) trying to make Dev's lifeless, drunk weenie work. She's creative and persistent, but Dev and his member fall asleep. Mad and disgusted she kicks the loser out of the bed...

Fellas, we are beating a dead horse. There's nothing left that hasn't been said. It was clear a while ago that they will not play more than 72 games. All I want at this point is to see them kick ranger ass at least once this season. Also maybe spoil Philly's chances if they don't clinch by then. That's not me speaking, that's my natural hatred toward them both and Torts.

Not sure I'm ready to see Dawson walk. He's having a bad season, but he's very serviceable, especially playing with linemates who do a little more than just skating.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this season is a huge system (if this term is even applicable) failure. I don't usually follow up on former Devils, but most of them seem to find another gear on teams where coaches know what they are doing.
Idk what the offseason will bring, but I'm absolutely sure this team can be fixed and taught what it really takes to be considered a cup contender.
