It was snowing here in TOMS RIVER.. not sticking but still. I was walking out to lunch in my T-SHIRT and SHORTS in snow and 40 mph winds + the cold temperatures.. ugh. Same here in Salem County. WIND! SNOW! then Sun and done. Still like 40 degrees though. -

Baseball sucks for most of the summer. Too many of those cry baby fools get paid toooo much for tooooo little. But once Sept hits and the races are on it's actually fun to watch. The season is frickin LONG!!
A sports show host had the NERVE to say "well it's been a long 5 months since the sox won the series"!! Are you kidding me? It's like NASCAR. The season goes on 4ever!

I shot an email to the Director of Media & Team Services for the Lock Monsters to ask a couple questions. I'd hate to have any affiliation with the
HERicanes or avs and I asked the important question (Lockettes) Which he didn't answer, but I shot the question back to him again....no answer

I'm writing to you from NJ. I have a couple questions for you and was hoping you might have or find the answers.
1- Are there any plans to have the NJ or some recognizable affiliation logo put onto your jerseys? We'd like to know prior to purchasing one of your jerseys.
2- Any plans in the works for getting your team some Ice girls? The River Rats have the Ice Mice. Other teams have taken this step as well. I think the name Lockettes would be catchy and maybe draw you some more revenue in tickets/merchandise sales.
3- Will there still be any affiliation with the Hurricanes or Avs?

Jeff, we will know more about the jerseys and promotions after the conclusion of our season, and finalized purchase by the Devils. There will be no indication this season of New Jersey on our jerseys. In the meantime, our sweaters currently display a design similar to the Hurricanes, and will be collectors
