There were NO games last night being played with the EC vs. WC match ups. EC vs. WC tracker. WC leads the EC 135-121 so far this season. There are 3-games in the EC and 4-games in the WC match ups tonight. Los Angeles is at Boston where Los Angeles lost a tough game to Nashville on Monday night, look to bounce back with a win to start this 6-game road trip for them. Los Angeles is trying to get into the top 8 in the WC and they need these two points and hope to pull off the upset win. Boston lost to Pittsburgh on Sunday and have not been playing all that well in the month of March. Boston only holds a 4-point lead now over New Jersey in the EC for #1 seed overall. They look to get a win tonight on home ice. Need Los Angeles to win this game so New Jersey has a chance of catching Boston for #1 overall in the EC. Win this game in regulation Los Angeles. Montreal is at Ottawa where Montreal lost a tough SO game to the Rangers on Tuesday night, look to bounce back with a win and climb back in the EC standings for the playoff run. Need Tampa Bay to win this game in regulation, so New Jersey stays in the #2 seed in the EC, although New Jersey has more wins and games in hand with Washington. New Jersey had a big letdown game in Carolina last night losing 4-2, that could have given them some breathing room for the #2 seed in the EC and could have been behind Boston by only 2-points. Toronto is at Florida where Toronto won in the SO over Tampa Bay on Tuesday night, look to keep their streak alive with a win tonight. Florida was shutout by washington in their last game on Tuesday night and have been fading fast in the EC playoff standings. Edmonton is at Colorado where Edmonton won a big SO game over St. Louis to remain in the top 8 seeds in the EC for the playoffs. Edmonton looks to continue that winning streak tonight on the road. Colorado lost a tough game to Minnesota in the SO on Tuesday night, look to bounce back with a win on home ice tonight. Vancouver won a big game over Dallas on Tuesday night to puch the franchise record to 10-straight wins on home ice. They try to make it 11 in a row tonight with a win. Anaheim is at Phoenix where Anaheim got a big win over Nashville last night in OT to keep their playoff chances still alive in the WC. Anaheim looks to win their second game in as many nights. Phoenix got a big win over San Jose on Tuesday night, look to get their second in a row tonight on home ice. Nashville is at San Jose where both teams are coming off bad losses. Nashville lost to Anaheim last night in OT 4-3 and look to bounce back tonight with a win. San Jose lost a bad game to Phoenix on Tuesday night, look to get back into the win columb tonight on home ice, where they are still one of the best at home in the NHL. Some really good games and match ups tonight in the NHL and many with playoff implications. Lets Go Los Angeles (IN REGULATION), Montreal, Tampa Bay (IN REGULATION), Florida, Edmonton, St. Louis, Anaheim and San Jose! -SD

Hammer
Ottawa now up 5 to 3 in the second. Ok, so the Canadians are desperate for points, and then they come into Ottawa and give up 5 goals? If I was Montreal, I would take a long look at Clemmenson in the offseason.
