njd3b1ink Posted February 10, 2013 Share Posted February 10, 2013 That's the thing about Carter-Gionta-Bernier - they forecheck really well and cycle really well. It's just very difficult for them to establish the cycle and they get caught in their own zone too much. I don't think they get caught nearly as much as you are making it sound. If anything I think the spend more of their time in the offensive zone with the puck than in their zone without it. I know Deboer doesn't match lines but I've noticed that the cbgb line does a great job against opposing teams top lines. I remember against the rangers, the Nash, Richards, gaborik line being stuck in their own zone several times when the lines were out against each other Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
