SBT
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Please disregard the fact that the Rangers pitching staff gave up 10 runs today.
insanity_gallops
He's a great player, one of my all-time favorites. Just seems like a classy guy. Congratulations to him.
SBT
Check out the ESPN website. Apparently one of their senior sports writers doesn't feel Raffy deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Is he NUTS?
CHICO IS GOD
I think the commercial will cost him a fall of fame bid

Nieuwy25
ESPN's Brian Murphy (Page 2) called Palmeiro's 500th boring. Said he was a nice DH! Grrrr! He's not a DH - he's a 1st baseman. Why don't idiot writers get a clue, instead of just trying to be oh so smarta**! Congrats to Raffy! And he is a very classy guy (must be something about #25 on their backs ). A cool thing - a Catholic priest caught the ball, and had no intention of making a big deal out of keeping it. He was glad to give it back. I'm sure he got some nice gifts for it though. He met with Raffy after the game.
