I guess there could be worse obsessions, like say oh any Rangers or Flyers.

I would have said a dog, but now I have both sets of critters. Two dogs and a kitten that appeared on my doorstep at Christmas time. I have never had a cat before and I am finding out they are VERY different than dogs! My cat, who I have now renamed Bucky, (because she is the cat in the comic strip Get Fuzzy) is SO weird. I tell you it is never a dull moment in our house now.

But do they have a chance against the very strong Canadian team? Real questions marks in goal. Esche played well last year but will he be up to facing the Sakic's, Thortons, & St. Louis, that team Canada will throw at him Conklin and Dipetro. And who would you start? In goal that is.

It would be good to see Scotty in a uniform again ....

After reading some of these posts, I think that it is interesting how some of the people that are new to this forum actually started out as fans of other teams. And that is how I also became a Devils fan. Back in 2001 during the Playoffs against the Avs, I discovered the team. Living in the Midwest football farm belt of Ohio, I never had the chance to watch the Devils much. Until they met my beloved Avs in the Cup finals. (Please don't hate me for that!) Even though Roy won that year, I watched the other goalie and realized that #30 was something to watch, and I became an instant fan.
