2 quick questions: 1. How does the 4th keeper work for teams that have no one eligible...? Will they have to draft that slot or will they get their pick of anyone remaining? Found the answer in the first post. 2. Can I only trade with or for this years draft picks? Or are futures in play too?

My keepers will be some combination of Mackinnon, Matthews, Zibanejad, Miller and Hart as the under 100 games one. I’d be willing to trade Mackinnon or Matthews for the correct winger eligible keeper plus pick(s). I’d send offers but I need to login on a computer first. I’ll decide on which pick I want by this afternoon, deciding between 2 and 14.

I will happily keep the title since I won last year if that’s how we need to do it lol In all seriousness it seems like the regular season is over. I was somehow making a final push so I am upset it’s over but another good season! I also think if we used the same stat categories as last year then I might’ve won. PIMS and Saves killed me! I’m relatively good in PIMS but it killed my other stats finding lower point guys who get hits and PIMS. And Saves I’m just so far behind in goalie games played I had no chance. Whereas save percentage always kept me in it Now I have the summer to adjust for it all! While I’m not happy that I’m in second and still 20 points out, thank god this fantasy season is already over so we don’t see any dumb lopsided deadline deals where people who have no chance of winning give away top round picks to make a push. Next year will be a nice reset where there wasn’t a ton of pick movement and the draft will be a normal draft for the league. Dynamo doesn’t need to have 10 picks in the first 6 rounds to win but he did and that’s why he’s been in first by 20 points the entire season. End rant. Sorry! I got lucky with Matthews. He was the first 6th round pick after we started the dynasty keepers. You all were still learning when he fell in my lap. It is nice having him and Mackinnon though. Taking a “shot” on Mac a few years ago after his down year 3(?) was my best pick so far Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I feel the same way. Honestly I don’t think it’s a problem of value, if this was a deal later in the season where he already knows his team can’t compete then I’m fine with it, my problem is that there was a trade for his best player before the season started for an unknown commodity (Makar not the pick) and something that won’t help this season. Personally I’d prefer we vote on all changes but maybe that’s just me. I do think we should vote on adding statistical categories considering we’ve already had 4 people voice that they are against 1 of them. In the past the draft has taken around 2 hours I believe bc of the number of players we pick and the number of teams. What have we done 1 min per pick? Not that it affects the time much but if we take a 15th team the earlier the better for me. Neither of those new dates really work for me but if the date has to move I’d prefer the Thursday date. Also if your team doesn’t have any viable keepers but you want to make an offer for someone on my team, I’d consider the following: - Zibanejad can be had for a 4th/5th or similar ranked winger - Giordano can be had for a 6th or similar ranked winger Rest of my team can be had for mid round picks if you are in a dire need. Completely separate topic, I’ll definitely be taking the first pick again this year! With the way my keepers lined up, I’ll be loaded at center up front. Hey guys, looking forward to another fun season! My only issue with the rules is the PIMs scoring. I see no reason to reward a negative statistic. I get why we don’t want points anymore, but I don’t think they need to be replaced by another statistic if it doesn’t make sense. I’d say if we remove points, we’ll get rid of rewarding goals and assists twice and that’s enough change for now, unless there is a stat that makes more sense to add. Just my 2 sense. The hits category already rewards good enforcers, we shouldn’t reward cheaters of the game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
